Re: Serafina's Crown [Fantasy][Romance][GxB][GXG]
Hmmm... which character are you trying to romance? You need to spend time with them at least twice before the ball to get the option to dance with them, and then you need to dance with them in order to continue the romance path. If you're talking about Serafina, she is tricky: The only way to have a...

Re: Serafina's Crown [Fantasy][Romance][GxB][GXG]
@philip - Thanks so much for the thoughtful comments! It means a lot to me (I loved Reuben in the first game but it seems that he's REALLY a bastard u_u shame) Heh, he can be pretty sleazy I know, but I hope you warm back up to him as the game goes on :) @Kirlett and @victorita9 : I'm glad you're p...

Re: Serafina's Crown [Fantasy][Romance][GxB][GXG]
@Fenrir34: Thanks for the feedback! As for #4, I wonder if adding more shadows to the accessories would help them blend better? That tends to be a challenge with drawing dynamic costumes, for me at least! And I'm glad you think that perhaps the price could be higher; I'm investing a lot into this V...

Re: [SOLVED] How to pan background and characters together?
Okay, here goes. For reference, my background is 5000 a pixel-wide layer. My characters are sized 800 x 1200 pixels. The screen size of my game is 1280 x 720. First, I defined my own layer called pan in the options script: init -1 python hide: config.layers = [ 'master', 'pan', 'transient', 'screens...

Re: How to pan background and characters together?
Thanks for the tip. I'd wondered if layers might be the key to this but I hadn't messed with them much until now. I had to fiddle with the code a LOT to get it all to work, but after several hours of tweaking, I now have a system that will pan from one character to the next and around the room smoot...

Re: How to pan background and characters together?
No. The scene will go on for awhile; I need to be able to change sprite expressions quite often.trooper6 wrote:Couldn't you just make an image with the sprites fixed on the background (as opposed to calling up the sprites onto the background) and then pan that image??

Re: Actually making buttons
If you want to add a button that changes a variable, you can set it up like so (I just made some hypothetical examples): screen selection_screen: vbox: textbutton "Claws" action SetVariable("Claws", True) textbutton "Wings" action SetVariable("Wings", True) If you want a button to change several var...

[SOLVED] How to pan background and characters together?
I'm trying to set up a scene in my visual novel that takes place in a wide room and pans from one character to another, kind of like the game Danganronpa ( http://youtu.be/gb1WQf6v23w ), if you've ever played that. Picture something like what's in my example below, but zoomed in so only one characte...

Re: is Livecomposite slow on Android ?
My very non-technical answer from my own experience on the matter: I use im.Scale and LiveComposites consisting of many changing layers in my games as well, two of which are published on Android. I do think this slows rendering *slightly,* but I think the lag is only noticeable if you are accustomed...
