My thoughts on CGs/illustrations are they represent some of the more striking parts of the game or moments that can't easily be represented through text and character sprites. I've been playing through Steins; Gate 0 recently and I really liked how they handled to pause/menu screen (pictured below). When you pause the game or open up the menu, it zooms out to with a screencap of where you were and then zooms back in when you return to the game. http://i64.tinypic.com/spz0...

Really? I'm also a mac user but I've never had issues with editra.

Occasionally if I try launching a script via ren'py to editra it'll crash but it always works on a reload.
