Re: [SOLVED] Where is my mouse positioned?
Chill, dude. I meant the documentation doesn't show you how to use it, so if you need examples, search the forum. Obviously I have no idea what you searched for, but fyi the in-forum search isn't great and I tend to find google with site:lemmasoft.renai.us turns up better results.

Re: Is it possible to read back from an image how much it has been rotated?
I don't know a way of animating a rotation smoothly, except through the "rotate" command for a defined transform. And I can't yet figure out how to change variables based on a (repeating) timer. Even a non-repeating timer, ends up creating errors because I don't know how to use the ren'py screen la...

Re: Multiple conditional statements in an imagebutton
Just wanted to add that I presumed the goal is to do something on each button click when recommending the return out and loop call screen method (e.g., because all evaluation is happening out of screen anyway, it's easy to add interactions like character makes short remark about what you picked up, ...

Re: Is it possible to read back from an image how much it has been rotated?
I'll be honest -- can't tell what you're trying to do from the couple posts you've made on this issue. But the general impression regardless is that you should probably be looking into a CDD at this point.

Re: Multiple conditional statements in an imagebutton
The right way to do this, imo, is to do the logic outside of the screen. Pseudocode below. screen clickallthree: # buttons don't do anything only return value to be used in label objects textbutton "1" action Return("firstobj") label before_screen: call screen clickallthree label objects: # use retu...

Re: Custom pronouns not working
Haven't bothered to look at the whole thing, but you're not actually setting they, them, etc. after selecting pronoun. Where you have $ selectedpronouns = pronounlist[pronoun], you should have similar assignments for all the other variables.

Re: Little spacing between boxes even with spacing set to 0
spacing can have a negative value. Alternatively, you can increase the line spacing for the text, I suppose.

Re: Displaying probability of success/other dynamic variables in choice menu item
Seems likely any weird math is just the integer division thing in python 2.7 (you'll notice that Remix explicitly forces float). You don't HAVE to do the calculation in the screen and honestly if it works, probably not much reason to fiddle with it, I just thought you didn't have to go through a who...

Re: Displaying probability of success/other dynamic variables in choice menu item
Not that your code is wrong, exactly, but given the way you're calculating it, isn't the success chance just (range - target + stat) / range ? (i.e., if d100 then it's 100 - target + stat / 100, if it's d20 it's 20 - target + stat / 20. Adjust one based on whether it's >= target or > target, I guess...

You can make a choice conditional (search for if drank_tea) or use menu sets.

Re: Conditional Formatting for the Dialogue Box in the Say Screen
1. What's the logic behind the if who: part of the statement? Is it checking if the who variable exists? If so then is it equivalent to if who is not None ? 2. What other function does assigning id to a text serve aside from assigning a default style? I had initially thought it was there to "link" ...

Re: Conditional Formatting for the Dialogue Box in the Say Screen
https://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=63207&p=546773#p546803 I mean this is just an extension of the previous question you asked, which is whether styles are hardcoded somewhere. Yes, they are, so it doesn't matter if you assign a style via conditional. The conditional itself is simp...

Re: Displaying probability of success/other dynamic variables in choice menu item
Am I better off making a custom menu function? Probably. Dunno how you've set everything up but standard menus are a bit inflexible. That said, depending on how the system works, you could pass the probability into a menu argument and thus to the choice screen. Hard to say for certain without knowi...
