All Ren'Py entries should use 6.0.0 (or higher). Remember, NaNoRenO isn't a Ren'Py event, but a Ren'Ai event (though I guess now it's more of a general VN event...)

I was planning on not really having a NaNoRenO+ or IntRenAiMo this year. No one undertook NaNoRenO+ last year, and we started kind of late this year, so I didn't think it would be a good idea to have NaNoRenO+. As for IntRenAiMo, it just seems kind of out of scope. I didn't really want to encourage ...

Being small isn't a requirement for the Ren'Ai archives. There are already two games larger than 80 MB at the archives.

I'm not sure there's a file size limit on uploading to forums... but if there is, you could always use megaupload.com . Then, once it's out, it can be placed at the Ren'Ai archives if you give permission.

hmmm... no one has ever asked that before. I would imagine... yes. If it's in English too ^_^;;; . Ren'Py supports both languages, so you could have both. As far as having only Japanese... I don't really know. I would vote yes. But you should realize that few people here would be able to play it and...

Have you looked at the Gimp? I've never used Seashore, so I don't know what features it has, but the Gimp may have more (like layers). I think layers would be able to help with your coloring problem...

NaNoRenO 2007 Blitz Recruitment/Resource Store

NaNoRenO participants will soon be surging forward with work on their games- and most of them could use a bit of help. Have a few spare images or musical compositions? Why not post them here so they can be used for NaNoRenO. Will you have some spare time to draw a few images, or compose a few songs ...

Just to clarify my position when I said writing was more inportant than graphics or music... By "writing", I meant just that. Writing. The placing of words on paper. Good word usage, spelling, grammar, and comprehensibility. And the ability to inspire emotion- a feeling of light hearted goodness, de...

Isn't "NaNoRenO" a silly name since it no longer has anything to do with ren'ai? Besides we have "NaViNoWriMo" which works. Well, such is the force of habit - it's not logical, doesn't mean anything, but it's been a symbol for over 2 years, it's hard to let go. Mind you, we had IntRenAiMo - Interna...

I had wanted to wait a while longer, but it's probably better to give as much notice as possible to those who would like to make a non-ren'ai VN/KN. And so....
With a 94% vote to allow all KNs and VNs, NaNoRenO has now opened to all KNs and VNs!

Just newly come from Visualnews.net - I'm glad I found this place through NaNoRenO, I didn't know such a community was around. Hi everyone. (Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu!) I'm a little torn about joining. I'm as newbie as they get when it comes to making VNs - and right now the only skill I'm comfortabl...
