Actually The new guilty gear is already on schedule.... for what it appears to be we can make you own fighter (well sort of). Robo Ky is destroyed By Ky on one of the story endings (2), However Robo Ky is rebuilt and has character skill storage. Form what I heard You fight with Robo Ky II against o...

Sad to say, but somewhere along the way people (guys) assume women like the social aspects more than anything else... trying to label and pin them down as some kind of separate 'thing' to market to is necessarily a good way of going about it. This isn't the fault of game developers/publishers, but ...

Of course , mostly just pics and stuff , since it supposedly still hasn't sold even in Japan yet....like others may have stated , as far as I / we know....it's only available in Korea. Actually, it was just released in Taiwan (PC; Kingformation) and Japan (PS2; Cyberfront). The drawback for some pl...

*****Spoilers (some thoughts on the game)***** It this even supposed to be sad? On certain boards, players are saying that Narcissu is about two people coping with death and loneliness (and is thus a tear-jerker), but that wasn't the impression I got. It has been several weeks since I played the gam...

*mutters under breath* The best critic is complaining about lack of hentai...since when is hentai required to be a good game? Is it because that was a hentai-based forum? (I hadn't heard of 4chan before this) These games have traditionally been associated with pornography, so the comments don't sur...

dating simulation is a term that doesn't even exist in japanese, and is generally used by uninformed people to talk about any bishoujo game, wether is had to do with dating or not (because, of course, it's a known fact that all bishoujo games exist for the sole purpose of simulating real dates for ...

well, I just noticed that this game is no longer M-rated. anyone with it is now in possession of an adult game. you can thank the mod community for that. appearantly, one modder found hidden data built right into the game and created a "mod" that unlocked the adult content. this caused the rating o...

J-Fan Radio

As an alternative to Japan-A-Radio or other stations, I'd highly recommend J-Fan Radio. Instead of zeroing in on anime songs or a few select artists (Utada Hikaru, Ayumi Hamasaki, T.M. Revolution, L'Arc~en~Ciel, etc.) currently synonymous with said subculture, J-Fan provides a far broader look at wh...

Freeware Game Recommendations

Here're some of the most recent, higher profile ones. In particular, some publishers have begun distributing older games free of charge, so there're several quality options. Doukutsu Monogatari http://agtp.romhack.net/doukutsu.html The English translation (Aeon Genesis) was released late last year. ...

I played this one a couple months ago. Graphics were very nice for a fan effort, although the game was far too easy and short for my liking (I also found the ending scenes to be a bit silly and overdone. On the plus side, there were no illogical puzzles or pixel hunts, so I was able to complete it c...

Is the Korean version (PC) out yet? Oddly enough, Play-Asia claims to be shipping the Limited Edition (they posted the status and price two weeks ago), while the release date for the Japanese version (PS2) is still tba.

Simulation - a large cast of characters - an in-depth game system, preferably with many parameters to deal with - longer playtime - a wide variety of options (date spots, activities, etc.) - challenge - a minimal number of pre-scripted sequences, esp. ones involving specific characters. Indeed, gam...

Offer: Ren'Py Scripting and/or Text Editing Services

Well, seeing that someone has already applied for Metropolitan Blues, I figure it would be better to request work on something else. I'm unable to draw, write (creatively, that is), or compose. However, Ren'Py scripting is something I've been experimenting with, to at least some degree of success. W...
