I'm using Version 6.17.5. There are no error messages.
It launches, then the window winks out. It shows up in the Task Manager process list, and the files react to said process as if it were running normally, but the actual program is nowhere to be found.

SETTIN IT.png Is there any way to bump the margin/padding of the namebox over to the right a bit? The conclusion I usually see is to set the sprite on the right side of the text, but that's a little awkward when all my sprites are drawn facing that direction, and the main character can't be flipped...

Quick update: wrestling with my poor concept of scripting. I'll figure it out eventually. The game is functional, at least!
I'm aware the textboxes are grossly inadequate. I might fix that at a some point.

It looks unfinished and flat; like all aspects were super rushed. The sketchy look is good for the mood, as is the shading, but they just don't...look very convincing?

The art is cute, but a little...flaccid-looking?
The grey shading is nice for a more grim tone, but with the roughness of its application and the roughness of the lines, it just looks unfinished. Maybe add another layer of shadow, to give it a little more depth?
