Re: Calling on writers for "next-gen" Visual Novel!

Wow this looks incredibly interesting. How quickly are you needing a writer? I'm tied in up some projects at the moment but this looks really cool.

Re: Three Guys That Paint [BxG/BxB] [NaNoRenO 2015]

Arthur is wearing a quilt. I'm sold. Lovely lineup! <33 It's a kilt, not a quilt (I'll forgive you since you're not a native English speaker). I am curious as to why they're wearing one, though. (off topic) ...you know,I should know that. I was in Scotland and I love men wearing kilts and sporrans ...

Re: ★★★~NaNoRenO 2015 Recruitment Thread~★★★

Hello, I'm up for a short NaNoRenO project. I am a very experienced programmer (GUIs, basic scripting and ATL) as well as a writer. I have no real ideas at the moment so I would like to join up with someone who actually has an idea going. For specific examples of what I've done (Some it is unrelease...

Re: Forsaken Productions Coding, Writing and Editing [PAID O

If you have any samples of your writing (that you can post publicly) would be cool too :) Apologies for not getting back to you until now. Unfortunately my VN writing so far is all under NDA (Excluding some out of context quotes I've been posting on my twitter feed) but I do have some published wor...

Re: Forsaken Productions Coding and Writing Services [PAID O

You have a point. I just don't like talking exact rates since it makes negotiation a little trickier.

For programming I charge by time and for writing it's per word. Programming is $20-$30 per hour and Writing is 2¢ to 5¢ per word.

I'll edit them into the opening post.

Re: Forsaken Productions Coding and Writing Services [PAID O

Rates depend on the type of job and the time required to do it. There's no set price. It's negotiated on a per job basis.

Re: Recruitment!

If anyone is looking for a writer or programmer then I am happy to work with them. I have extensive experience in custom interfaces, sim engines and general Ren'Py scripting as well as broader programming skills. I've been a writer for many years also so I'm fairly confident on that side too. Altern...

I was using ToggleVoiceMute but never thought to use the invert part of it. Thank you, it's working perfectly now. :)

Way to Check a Voice is Muted? [SOLVED]

I'm currently using voice tags so the player can mute individual characters. What I want to know if there's a way to check whether a voice is muted or not because I want to use it with SelectedIf so the toggle button looks correct. At the moment, the button appears selected when the voice is muted r...

Issue with Custom Main Menu [SOLVED]

The most frustrating thing about this issue is that it's happened to me before and I managed to fix it but I cannot remember how I did it. Anyway, this is my code and you can see the visual result in the picture below. Any ideas how to get this to stop? I know it's not a rendering issue since I chec...
