Needed extra writer/editor for otome game project[CLOSED]
Hi, me along with PrincesssGamer are beginning work on a stat-raising otome game and we're in need of an extra writer/editor to help advance the script. The one in charge of the art is me: Examples: http://fav.me/d7jwkt8 & http://fav.me/d6hgadm The beta designs for the four obtainable heroes are: ht...

Re: Biospectre [Suspense, thriller] [Currently seeking artist
I didn't download demo 0.1, so maybe that's why I think it's too short. Since you're releasing demo 0.3 soon, I'm going to just wait for that. So far, I can't tell anything what with the short amount of dialogues that I read, my fault for not downloading 0.1 demo though, lol. But I like your sprite...

Re: Sprite Maker Design Suggestion?
well the only thing I'm seriously tired of seeing is bangs. Most VN characters have bangs while in real life most men have shorter hair than that and most women have longer hair than that covering their foreheads. Also this is just something I personally like but adding a secondary hair color option...

Re: Artist Available l FREE
You think you could help me shade some sprites? I have this thing where I'm completely stupid when it comes to knowing how the light source affects stuff.

The second demo is out but not up for review yet. Just in there for organization sake and to show off some of the icons and backgrounds I got. As StellarOrb said, he'll be helping with the writing this time so you can all expect something much better for demo 0.3. See ya /o/

Re: Biospectre [Suspense, thriller] [Currently seeking artist
I like it, especially the beginning in the bathroom. You definitely set the mood well, although some of the sentence structures and wording could use a bit of revision. I'm planning on rolling out my first VN as well, and I don't know if we're in the same boat, but I haven't written anything apprec...

Re: Death Rule: lost code//Second Stage Demo
I only played the last demo but I really enjoyed the plot. Still, the whole players menu confused me since I'm guessing the double agent ability also affects that (at which point did the "Kill all uneven players" player entry even appear?). Also the part where number one was killed was really weird ...

Re: Biospectre [Suspense, thriller] [Currently seeking artist
First of all, I'm glad someone was able to hate it right away. This way I don't have to change that much to aim it in a better direction. I think you should aim for a character that's empathetic , not sympathetic . I know what the words mean, but could you elaborate a little? I read an article about...

Re: A Shadow's Reflection [DEMO]
I really enjoyed the story so far. Both Eli and Derek are really interesting to look at and even when the story is so fantastic, it still seems like the characters reactions are realistic (realistic coming from a cast full of mentally unstable characters but realistic nevertheless). The pacing on th...

The first beta of my first project called Biospectre is already up at http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewto ... 45&t=26009 so anyone who wants to critique my writing is free to go there to do it so we can leave this poor topic rest in peace. Thanks for everyone's help again.

Biospectre [Suspense,thriller] [Currently seeking artists.]
Hello everyone. This is my first VN project, which I'm working in parallel with another one I'm not revealing just yet. This one in particular is based on a hypothesis I've had for a while regarding ghosts and I decided to use a story to leave that in the open. As of now, as long as I have enough fe...

Re: Training? Advice?
Writing is also the way to go. The only way to get better is with tons and tons of trial and error, finding out what works and what doesn't, and through a large amount of complete and utter failure. It's also one thing looking at yourself and seeing what's wrong with it, which is a good thing, self...

Re: Training? Advice?
The "Micro outline" view is where you get down into the nitty-gritty details, and structure each chapter individually. Here you go beyond "What" happens, and you hammer down the "How it happens", "Why it happens", and "How does it effect, challenge, or change the characters". Like the main outline,...

Re: Training? Advice?
My absolute favorite books on writing are "How Not to Write a Novel" by Howard Mittlemark and Sarah Newman (very funny) and more recently, "The Anatomy of Story: 22 Steps to Becoming a Master Storyteller" by John Truby. One's by experienced novelists and the other's by a screenwriter, but they both...
