Re: Imagemap Displaying a picture on hover.
Thanks. I'm sorta new to coding so it's gonna take some time before I understand this. I figured if I can give a hotspot the "clicked" property, I can also give it the "hovered" hotspot (30, 195, 175, 60) clicked Jump("cellsTutorial") hovered show("UI/models/emotions/angry.png") at Position (xpos = ...

Showing Image when Hovering over Hotspot [Solved]
Quick rundown. I'm creating a game where you have a option menu done in an imagemap. When you hover over one of the options, it light's up and you can click it. However.... I want a picture on the side to change whenever someone hovers over the option. Example: http://i.imgur.com/v7TCMdh.jpg imagema...

Re: Firing 2 events at once (easy question)
with can be used on it's own to affect multiple things: show bobBlank at right show happy at Position (xpos = 625, ypos = 190) with dissolve As long as you're wanting the same transition for all the new images, this works :) hahaha, I 'knew' there'd be an easy solution! Thanks!!!

Re: Problem with $if flags
Right now when you jump to label orb you say that magic is True. So the if statement should be if magic == True: "It came from...Rina's other bag. She left it on the table." else: "I must have imagined it." I'm only a starter when it comes to coding myself, so this might not be the awnser you were l...

Firing 2 events at once (SOLVED)
Alright, I feel like there should be a easy way to solve this, but can I do the following: show bobBlank at right with dissolve show happy at Position (xpos = 625, ypos = 190) Right now what happeneds is that the image bobBlank shows up on screen and as soon as the dissolve is over, the happy emote ...

Displaying characters with different outfits (SOLVED)
Hey folks, back with another question. I would love to have characters in my game be able to switch outfits. However this might be a problem when displaying them on screen. Let's say there's 10 outfits. Personally I'd define a statement going: define bobOutfit = 1 Then when a chat starts and bob is ...

Re: If statement. Variable between 2 values (Quick question)
Thanks again for the help, but I've stumbled upon another problem. Can I add an if statement inside of an if? Example: if 0 >= morale <= 5: "What?! No way!" elif 6 >= morale <= 10: $morale -= 1 $bobHomework += 1 "Fine I'll do it." if 1 >= bobHomework <= 10: "Bob looks dumb." elif 11 >= bobHomework <...

Re: If statement. Variable between 2 values (Quick question)
Thank you! Is this the only way to do it though? I seem to have this idea that you could do something like:
Not sure if I just misremember or maybe it's from another code language. It's been a long time since I've tried Ren'py.
Code: Select all
if variable == (1, 6):
"Something happeneds."
