Re: "Say" Screen/Choices animation

Sorry that I completely misinterpreted your question.

I know a way to make the actual text disappear (here), but I don't know about the dialogue box.

My apologies.

Re: "Say" Screen/Choices animation

Dumb question! How would one go about adding a simple animation for when the dialogue window or player choices appear on screen? Basically just fading and moving in instead of just appearing. Sorry if I sound like an awkward penguin and thanks bunches! If you're looking to have your characters "dis...

Re: The Death of Mrs. Macey [Drama][Family][Free]

Thank you for your support! I'm currently working on the fourth scene right now, so the next build should be on its way sometime within the next week or so. Here's hoping it won't break anything! ;)

I can't believe you're so close to the beta-testing stage! I can't wait to see this game in action, and I'd be delighted to help hunt down bugs and typos. :)

I wouldn't mind being an idea bouncer for this project. I don't have Skype, however... (My computer refuses to run it properly for some reason.)

Re: Non-Commercial Collaboration Looking For More Team Membe

Do you still need someone to code? I can do the basic grunt work so that more experienced people can focus on the heavy stuff, and I'm looking to learn from experience by working on other peoples' projects. :)

Re: A crowdfunding campaign gone wrong...

EDIT : Well, that was fast :( . Actually, the main bully donated exactly 1€ to the campaign just before it ended. I really don’t want to have ANYTHING to do with him, can I repay that tiny little 1€ or do I really have to give him backer access like everyone else, although he only did that to mock ...

Re: Rainy Monday [Horror] [Adventure] [RPG style]

I can't believe no one's commented on this project yet! ;)

I like the example scene that you posted, but I understand that it's not typical in that it uses the 8-bit sprites. Are the other scenes just backgrounds without sprites, or are there character portraits?

Re: [Free] Newbie coder looking to work other new creators

That's why I'm offering my services to any new creator with a concept or story already in place for a small to medium sized visual novel. This is a great idea! Beginners helping beginners is a great way to learn, indeed! I'm currently working on a concept of my own, and although it's not quite full...

Re: Chibi-fying backgrounds for chibi sprites

I think that the first style might be good for character sprites (especially if you want a lot of poses/expressions), and the second style would be better used in CGs or cutscenes.
