Re: To much 'perfection'...Not enough 'flaws'
Bland examples are easier to name for male examples because of that whole sexism thing. Most of the time a male lead will be made as plain and average as possible so that dudes can superimpose themselves in the place of the guy who's actually in the series. And yeah, Girl's Revolution is pretty gro...

Re: To much 'perfection'...Not enough 'flaws'
The phrase "Does it make money?" comes to mind. If you can create a story with average-looking people, and *sell it* to an audience in forms such as television and major motion pictures, then you're doing something right. I'm trying to think if there are any recent, well-known series in which ordin...

Re: To much 'perfection'...Not enough 'flaws'
Oh, and I love Winter Wolves games. I've seen that, and it looks really good. They make great characters, and I'm always proud to buy from them :) . I do like that Lemmasoft has many games that have good MC and characters, along with a theme that can make one feel better Me too, me too, Winter Wolv...

Re: To much 'perfection'...Not enough 'flaws'
I love otome games and anime more then anything. In fact, I admit that both have helped me through some difficult times. However, I've come to notice a rather big trend in both of them, along with movies and tv shows. There is to much 'perfection', as in the characters look perfect, and not enough ...

Re: To much 'perfection'...Not enough 'flaws'
With a Japanese oriented medium like anime and VNs, you find that their standard of beauty is kind of, if not very narrow. I do agree that we should see more variation in the things you mentioned, but that's a hurdle developers don't even really think about and nor does their main audience I believ...

Re: Worst anime you have ever watched?
Final Fantasy Unlimited-Not only am I ashamed of Square Enix for even thinking up this story, but the fact that they literally steal Vincent's concept for Kaze is just stupid. Every character except two are annoyed, the story is boring, and it has some pretty bad art. Also, the bad guys are more thr...

Re: What's your reaction after watching a really amazing ani
I cry when I finish the anime, and realize that I have to rewatch it. Attack on Titan and Monster are in this category. I really liked those series, and sometimes screamed in excitement when watching them  . When they were over though, I guess I got a little depressed. It's hard to find good an...

Re: Does fanfiction improve your writing?
I kind of believe that it does, but only till a point. Writing fanfiction is good for beginners because it helps them focus on their writing skills, and not having to create their own characters. Also, though the writer didn't make them, it helps them practice adding more to the characters. But like...

Re: Crime • Scene (Mystery, Crime, Thriller)
1.I still don't know too much, but I'm hoping for some rather sad or weird endings. Don't know why. Just feels like it suits a game like this. 2-Cocept seems interesting, and it seems like a new style of gameplay. 3-Yes. The idea sounds interesting, and I'd play it when it came out. I like mystery a...

Re: A change in the weather [GxB]
This looks really cool, and I love the fantasy aspect you gave the game. Like the main character as well. Doesn't want to be married, but does want to see the outside world. I think that's a lot of us when we grow up. Home to see this in the works in progress thread, and good luck

Re: Cafe Memoria [BxG][Comedy][Slice of Life][Waitress]
Let's just start out by saying that this looks really good. I'll defiantly play it when it comes out. As for your questions: 1-The story is simple, yet seems to be fun at the same time. It's like this game is a relaxing story for the player. As for the characters' I like them. They all have pretty g...

Wonder why no one has looked at this. I think that story is quite intriguing actually, and the art looks really good. I also see you're doing it by yourself and that must be really difficult. I hope it's not too stressful for you. Good luck though, and I hope you can some more feedback
