Music in splashscreen into main menu

I'm not too sure about how to go about this, but I want to start the main menu music when I'm at the splash screen and have it continue on into the main menu. Is it possible?

You could set up save points where you use 'window hide' I suppose.. But I'm certain players would really dislike that alongside the impaired ability of when to save. I've found a font with support for the characters, MS Gothic. Applying" 「" and "」" to text

It might seem a bit odd, but I've gotten pretty used to visual novels using 「」 to distinguish between what is spoken out loud and what's a characters thoughts. Putting these characters in only gets me a box to show up though. How can I fix that?

This is just a very random shot in the dark, but that thread is a couple years old. That said, ren'py might no longer accept "else if" and only accept "elif" now. I believe the layouts are mostly used when you customize your save/load menus? Anyone with actual experience should correct me since I'm still a newbie at this.
