Hard to remember but it was the French imports from the late 70s for me - DevilMan, Conan, Candy Candy, Sasuke, Mazinger and the rest.
Edit: Oh right, and Lupin III, Kimba, Principessa Zaffiro, Heidi, Maya, a few robots that I can't remember the names of...

Re: The Stolen Diamond Ring - a mystery visual novel
Thank you for such a detailed review ^_^
All points duly noted and will be taken into account for our next game (actually not really next game since the next one is going to be a free Cute-RPG style but the one after that will be a mystery VN again).

Seems like I'm the only who thinks the solution is not so obvious ^^;;;

Re: Anyone Know How to Recover Corrupt .psd?
Tried a few things, no luck. The only thing I managed to get out of it after a bit less than an hour is the thumbnail preview (portrait). There are a few repair tools I was able to find, but it'd probably end up eating even more time (downloading a few of them, installing, discovering it doesn't wor...

Re: "Snow blossom" starts to skip frames after a while
Thanks for the replies, will give it a try
Hopefully this'll work without HWA, it's just 20-40 particles after all. We'll see!

Re: "Snow blossom" starts to skip frames after a while
Writing my own partice factory - already took a look at the example and it was mostly incomprehensible to me (although the logic is relatively simple, if I understood the comments correctly).
@PyTom: thanks, good to know.
Thanks for the answers.

Re: "Snow blossom" starts to skip frames after a while
Yes, they're pretty big - the animation is drawn within the frames since I was trying to avoid the mechanical and dead look of straight-down falling petals (regardless of whether the falling has a slight slant it still doesn't look any good). The number of particles is around 40 (see edit) - I'm usi...

Re: "Snow blossom" starts to skip frames after a while
The size shouldn't cause any problems (mainly 32*32, the biggest one is 64*64) and I can't see how can it work with just 1 or 2 frames without looking extremely mechanical...
Thanks for the replies anyway, at least I know it's not tied to my comp

Re: "Snow blossom" starts to skip frames after a while

"Snow blossom" starts to skip frames after a while
I'm using the " Snow Blossom " to throw a few particles around the screen and it works!... at least in the beginning. The first wave of particles falls, disappears etc, then after a few waves the particles start to jump to seemingly random frames? With each new wave of particles the jumps are bigger...

Re: How to change the default editor from jedit to Notepad++
Shouldn't be a big deal if that's what I think it is... so: go to View -> Show White Space and TAB, after that go to Settings -> Preference -> Edit Components and tick the "Replace by space under "Tab Setting". Now just find the inserted tab (it'll be shown as a big orange arrow) and edit it. Maybe ...

Re: How to change the default editor from jedit to Notepad++
When I use Notepad++ and change text in it, I get some strange error: Ren'Py can not use this character in scripts. But I use "utf-8" in Notepad++ and in jEdit. Why? Using utf-8 on my end too, not getting any such messages... if you want I can test your file on my end to see whether I'll get any er...

Re: How to change the default editor from jedit to Notepad++
Hooray, I managed to make it work! Very simple - much easier than I thought it'll be. Here's how: just made a RunMe.bat file with following lines: cd \ cd "Program Files\Renpy-6.9.2" renpy.exe "000 currentProject" and went through Run -> Run -> [...] to my batch file that was in the RenPy directory....

Re: How to change the default editor from jedit to Notepad++
Update: even after downloading it again and reextracting it directly to the partition where I keep the programs, nothing really changed except now it just complains about "D:\program files" instead of "P:\prgInstall\010 gameMakers\". I tried sending only the current directory to it, then only the fi...
