Thank you, let me squish this bug tonight. I think I got it! Failed to code in a return I'll make new builds by tomorrow. There is a fairly low-tech solution, since I left the source code unarchived. Open up the game folder, find "script.rpy", go to the very bottom of the script and just type in ret...

Re: CRS Escape! Ludum Dare #21 Project
Wow, this is pretty good. Can't wait to peek under the covers when I'm done to see what's making it all tick. You did what I struggled to do: actual Mystlike adventure game puzzles. I got fairly far, figured out the machine, got to the control room, pushed the button as a raccoon and assumed that un...

Oops. Do you have the Ren'Py traceback? There are multiple ways to hit that part, and I need to know which variable or typo I goofed on.SusanTheCat wrote:I was at the water rising part and Pell says he's working on it, then it goes straight to the Main Menu.
Impressive work for 48 hours.

Making of here, at about 20X faster than reality and minus sleep cycles and burn-out and writer's block: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMQnel0_ka8 earth2.jpg Statistics: The game contains 663 screens of dialogue. [solved] A Jedit macro for indentation?
Is there a macro for Jedit like the comment/uncomment selection macro, but for indenting?

Okay, will do.
... It's not the cache. I've fubared the coordinates somehow, but I can't figure out where.
It's definitely the bottom and right spheres.

Re: Ludum Dare 21
Oh, I'm doing it and I wish I could throw up my current progress but that countdown is hurting me, and Chronolapse won't encode the video because it is clearly lame. My entry will probably fail in the competition on a technicality: a handful of the 3D models I'm using are sold by DAZ. =( So I defini...

Re: LD21: Imagemap that swaps entire image on hover
Okay, I sort of fixed it, but the imagemap area is horribly borked. Why this happens, I have no idea. screen sphereholder: imagemap: auto "spheres_%s.jpg" hotspot (0, 13, 343, 408) action Return("left") hotspot (619, 310, 820, 500) action Return("right") hotspot (382, 42, 625, 288) action Return("to...

Re: LD21: Imagemap that swaps entire image on hover
Scrap it, re-render so there's no overlap for now, got it.
Collabs aren't allowed so I need to code it myself. I also suck at puzzles.

LD21: Imagemap that swaps entire image on hover
Some of the spheres overlap so their hotspots would be individual but the areas actually highlighting would not ... is there a way to swap out the whole image on the hover area? The tutorial doesn't cover it too much... screen demo_imagemap: imagemap: auto "imagemap_%s.jpg" hotspot (8, 200, 78, 78) ...

Re: What drawing softwares do you use?
Photoshop CS 5, Flash CS 5 (I hate Adobe so much , the newer versions are all terrible and I like a handful of new features, but they destroyed the interface but I know how to bend the program to make it do what I want) , Paint Tool SAI, Art Rage 2.5, OpenCanvas 1.1 (so oldschool ... ), Autodesk Ske...
