Wisp: What am I to you? [Mystery, Romance][DEMO]
http://streetofeyes.com/art/wisplogo3.png I just finished writing Chapter 1 of my new VN. This one's going in a bit of a different direction from my previous work, more Japanese-inspired, and it's been interesting for me so far. I'm hoping it might get people here a little curious too, enough to gi...

[Open] Veteran Writer/Designer
I'm a full-time professional writer with numerous shipped titles under my belt, including several written and programmed myself in Ren'Py. I've worked on all kinds of games, big and small, in roles from simple freelancer all the way up to leading whole teams of writers, artists, musicians, and more....

Golem Creation Kit [Fantasy, Humour] Out on Steam
I almost forgot to post here about how Golem Creation Kit is now out! http://golemcreationkit.com/images/tutorial_kit_top.png GCK is a little story-driven, pixel-art, drag-and-drop crafting game inspired by titles like Papers, Please and Doodle God. It combines fun and comedy with a gripping narrati...

Ooh, thanks, that is quite helpful indeed. Clearly I suck at searching because that thread didn't come up for me.philat wrote:Quick search through the forums turns up this, which is a bit old but should get the trick done. viewtopic.php?f=8&t=24322

Re: Changing dialogue colour if previously seen?
There's renpy.is_seen. But I didn't know you could put conditionals in a style. Does Ren'Py actually allow that?

Changing dialogue colour if previously seen? [SOLVED]
I've had a request from a player on Golem Creation Kit to change text colour on dialogue that a player has previously seen. I honestly have no clue how to make that happen. Is there an easy solution?

Well, finally got it working, after a second complete nuke and reinstall of Ren'Py and the Steam libs. Marking as solved.

Steam integration in 6.99.12.4? [SOLVED]
My achievements are not working, probably because log.txt is coming out with this: Importing _renpysteam: ImportError('No module named _renpysteam',) Where can I find some documentation on how to properly integrate Steam with the latest version? Everything I can find is outdated and previous questio...

yes that version works a lot better! It's such a cute game > < I really like the art and aesthetic. Building golems is fun too, i just wish there was more time to grab ingredients, the drag and drop can be a little clunky with the overly large elements and there were a few times where the item just...

Okay, new build is up at the correct download link ( https://www.dropbox.com/s/2lbci7bdvnor9 ... c.zip?dl=0 ) which should hopefully fix any issues and add some quality of life improvements. Let me know if you have better luck with the tutorial this time!

Re: Golem Creation Kit[Fantasy, Humour] On Greenlight! New D
What part are you stuck at? It should be fairly self-explanatory, keep dragging stuff until you reach the end. After dragging things around nothing happens. I rolled back and clicked to not do the tutorial and it ran fine after that > < I was just stuck in that screen and I couldn't get it to move ...
