Re: An alternative to quotation marks for dialog?

Actually I realize that changing the font of the thinking part coupled would italics might actually work out giving it some more separation between think and talk
I even found something in the cookbook on the subject

Distinguish intuitively... yes But does it still feel right?...nope I wouldn't see myself reading something like this for a prolonged period of time This might work though as it makes more sense to me I stare at her. She is beautiful. I love you. She doesn't respond... Does she hate me? I love you, ...

Re: Questions about commercial games

What copyrights should I apply for? Usually there is only one type of copyright and that is simply copyright that you automatically get when you make your work so you can't apply for as you already have it Licenses are another story and is an agreement with another user/person of what they can do w...

Re: Lineart help

If you have a base sketch and don't mind getting dirty with the mouse(that is if you don't have a tablet) try the calligraph tool from inkscape with some mass and some wiggle(my preference is .3 for wiggle and .25 for mass with a bit of tremor .06) you can clean up the lines with bezier and path ope...

Re: guide to making trailers/OPs?

When you make a video for a VN please discard any notions of if it is trailer opening ending or whatever as ultimately it will encumber you It simply doesn't matter what it is, as its purpose is to achieve MOOD By mood I mean the excitement of wanting to play the damn thing, and if you got that ever...

Re: Character Ideas

In kurogane a samurai has been turned to a steel doll(with a talking sword but thats extra) the idea here is that it isn't an addition but an subtraction so ...

Re: Photos vs Backgrounds, commercial game

There are many fine art galleries of painted pictures. There are many fine art galleries of photographs. There are almost no fine art galleries of 3D renderings. Why do you think that is? Because its digital and your living in the stone age? It may come to you as a shock but the majority of the art...
