Re: AttributeError: 'StoreModule' object has no attribute

Variables that is used in screens (and transforms, styles, anything other than label) need to be declared by define or default statement.
I didn't know that & it did solve my problem.
Thank you so much!

[SOLVED]AttributeError:'StoreModule' object has no attribute

Hello, Could someone help me with this error? I have this screen with image buttons that changes the value of Boolean variables. The code works great until I try to exit the game while the screen is called. The screen is being called here: $ ladysmantles = True $ redrobin = True while ladysmantles o...

Re: Building An Android Version

Another question, how do I remove the mouse cursor from the mobile versions? IMO, it only shows up if you have external mouse connected, which is almost never the case, except with emulators. Turns out I need to add this so it disappears on mobile version: if renpy.mobile: config.mouse = {} else: c...

Re: Building An Android Version

Hi So I managed to get my game to work but I encountered the following problem: the game stops when a cut scene is supposed to show up. I'm using this code to display my videos: $ renpy.movie_cutscene("VillageView.ogv") Is the problem the .movie_cutscene or the video format? ::: Update ::: It did tu...

Re: Building An Android Version

Hmm...there are a few reasons why it isn't working, then. I think there's a small coding/naming mishap that's causing it to force close upon startup. Still, can you test the following, so I could come up with a better conclusion: -recompile the game, but make sure the package name and version numbe...

Re: Building An Android Version

So I tried the emulation that's provided with Renpy & the game worked fine.

r_sami wrote:Well, it really all depends. Have you only tested it on one device? And did it run correctly on the VM on your computer?
I did try it out on two different devices (a phone & a tablet) and it was the same result.
I didn't try it on the VM. I'll do that and see what will happen.

Building An Android Version

Hello,

So I managed to get my game on Google Play.
However, when I install the game, I get the splash screen that says "Renpy is loading" and then it quits the game.
Does any body have an idea on how to solve this? or what is causing it?

Thank you

Re: Mac Icon

Divona wrote:Have you put those "icon.ico" and "icon.icns" outside "game" directory, or inside? It has to be outside. For example "C:\MyProject\", not "C:\MyProject\game\".
I feel so stupid now because I totally forgot about that (I had the .ico in the right place but not the .icns).

Thank you

I put one there but same result. :|

Re: Lock Combination Puzzle

Well, honestly can't help you, because it's working fine for me. I guess you can try using image lock1 = DynamicImage("lock_[d1].png") to force it to DynamicImage, but it really shouldn't be necessary (and is working for me with just "lock_[d1].png" on 6.99.11). Thank you for your help. I finally g...

Re: Lock Combination Puzzle

No clue. Only thing I can think is either 1) you misnamed the image files, or 2) maybe you're using an outdated version of renpy, but 6.99.7 was a WHILE back... No, I had my images named like this "lock_1.png" and no luck. I also had the thought that may be it had something to do with Renpy version...

Re: Lock Combination Puzzle

Shouldn't happen if you used default correctly. The four lines up top are the initial definition of the variable. I still get the error & have no idea why. I have put these four lines in so many places but I have no idea what the problem is. If I don't get the NameError, I get the "IOError: Couldn'...

Re: Lock Combination Puzzle

I'm assuming by combination you mean something like this? https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/6/67/Combination_lock.jpg/220px-Combination_lock.jpg I can't quite tell what you're trying to do from the code snippets you posted, so the following assumes a 4 digit lock, with 10 possibl...
