Re: Mysterious Fosters (Cute, Mystery, NaNoRenO 2016)
Thanks for pointing me to your game, I ended up enjoying the story quite a bit! Here's a link to my review on tumblr. Critiques: Needs more characterization. The characters all spoke very similar. spend a little more time thinking about not just who they are but how they would talk. Easily fixed wit...

Re: How many CG's should you have in a game?
Your WIP thread says "5-7 endings" so as a player, I might expect one CG per route/ending. Keep in mind that you can also draw cut-ins which don't take up the whole screen. They can focus on one detail so the scene is displayed but lowers the amount of work you have to do.

Re: Syphethia's Discoveries (Fantasy GXB Otome)
While the visuals are aesthetically pleasing, I'm more interested in knowing how much of the script has been written so far. Is there a snippet we can see?

Re: Heartbaked ♥ [NaNo 2016][comedy][GxB romance]
I'm amazed no one has replied to this thread yet because this is by far one of the largest projects that finished on time. I'm not done with the game, but I can already tell how much work and dedication was put into everything. I'm in love with the GUI, though my only gripe is that the text is very ...

Re: Anyone else having issues with Windows 8?
This sounds more likely an issue for games made with older versions of the engine. What games were they playing, and were there any error logs?
I do know that Win8 was incredibly troublesome with some user permissions. I'm running Win10 and haven't experienced any issues with Ren'Py games.

How to read player's system time? (Solved)
I'm developing a game where I want different choices to be available depending on the real day of the week and time of day. Something like: if day_ow = "6" and time_od is less than 12:00: jump park else: jump beach If the user is playing on Friday before noon (AM), they'll go to the park. If they ar...

Re: NanoReno 2016
Hello all, I'm interested in playing and reviewing this year's NaNo games on my tumblr. I can provide constructive criticism and thoughts on how to improve your future games along with the review. I know some creators are sensitive to these types of reviews however, so I'd like to ask permission to ...
