doing art stuff for vn: 2-6 hrs
writing:/scripting: 1-2 hrs most of the time devoted to testing

uncanny valley, that is all.

Layer modes: Multiply, Overlay, Divide, Add...etc you know those stuff that make our lives easier.

My bad about MyPaint. It's a nice program for me though but it may not suit your needs 'coz it's barebones software. (read: no layer modes and even the basic move/select tool)

So you'll have to figure every effect you want from scratch like how you do it in real life.

Try MyPaint, see if it works for you.

I can't have questions as titles. grr

Is there any way of that appearing on your title bar without renaming your project folder with a prohibited character "?" ?
