Re: Dropped Projects

I can't believe no one has pointed this out yet, but I need to say it before it drives me crazy: No, there is no best way to create visual novels whether you're a beginner or if you consider yourself a perfushenal, an AAA publisher, an artiste, doesn't matter. Everyone is different, thus, what works...

Re: Lonesome- Version two

I helped Wright1000 a bit with this remake. I've also mirrored the game here: http://baka-trio.lunaen.com/lonesomev2-installer.exe (windows installer) Just in case uploading.com doesn't work for you.

Re: A quick question for posters

I don't think it's that much of a mystery. I'd say it's a sort of cultural trend that started sometime around 2009 and is still going strong today. Off the top of my head, I think the games responsible for the influx of interest in OELVN Otome can be attributed to titles such as Re: Alistair, the Fa...

The Powah of Scalar Pendants!

I thought this might make for an interesting discussion. The company marketing these supah scalar pendants apparently found its way into my area recently. They're actually using a highly-regarded physics professor from my former university to market their ahem... if you'll pardon the term, bullcrap ...

Re: New Rurouni Kenshin anime

Awww, I was hoping for the Jinchuu arc too. In any case, if it's something I've never seen before, I'm willing to watch it, even if it does turn out to be some kind of filler or fanservice series.

Re: Lonesome- A Remake

Uh... just need to express some concerns. If you're doing the proofreading, I'd like to double-check the script before the final release just to be sure, deal?

Re: Cannabis (Weed) Legality and Debate

A compromise would be to impose a fine but not imprisonment for possession with a harsher penalty that includes imprisonment for distribution, importation of controlled substances, controlled precursors, actual use etc. How effective would such a statute be? Your guess is as good as mine unless you ...

Re: Making a video

Heh, I used to use SWISH (an alternative flash editor) to make videos with some degree of success. Of course, using dedicated video editing software is always the better choice. Just here to say it worked for me:
Took me only a few hours or so do this.

Re: How long does a script usually take?

Writing usually takes me anywhere between several months to less than a week depending on the type of story and the work ethics I've formulated for a particular project -- which is never really the same every time. If you feel like you might have trouble in continuing a project in the future, set pe...

Law professor: You're still playing with that thing? That's my 5-year old grandson's favorite toy!
Me: And...?
Law professor: never mind. (shakes head in disbelief)
(The game was Project Diva 2nd btw.)

Re: Writers, How do you find/fix your plot holes?

Heh, don't make them in the first place? I dunno, personally, I always try to think about such things in advance. In any case, having someone else go through your script is always a good idea.
