Re: Error with time stamp on save slots
I suspect that this is a misunderstanding of how renpy.list_saved_games is supposed to work. The games are not listed in any particular order. Instead each tuple contains a filename. You should use the filename to handle arranging the games in the order that you desire. Huh? I don't really know how...

Error with time stamp on save slots [Solved]
I have a problem with my code init python: import time saveGames = renpy.list_saved_games() saveTime = time.asctime(time.localtime(saveGames[18][3])) saveGames[0] all the way up to saveGames[14] is fine, but enter a number higher than 14 and it crashes with the following error. I'm sorry, but an exc...

Re: Backgrounds for custom menus
Thanks a million, Strum! Nice step by step explanation! Finally got my game menu up, but not working. Whatever I click, the buttons return me to the game screen(all of em works like "Return"). This is my code: label custom_options: $ optionpos = Position(xpos=0.0, xanchor=0, ypos=0.0, yanchor=0) sh...

Re: Backgrounds for custom menus
Redirecting the buttons on the main menu isn't hard. init -2 python: layout.imagemap_main_menu("TitleScreenA.png", "TitleScreenB.png", [ (260, 258, 380 ,296, "Start Game"), (260, 300, 380, 339, "LoadMenu2"), (260, 344, 380, 382, "Custom_Options2"), (260, 387, 380, 425, "Extra_Options"), (260, 430, 3...

Re: Doujin job openings - The Subject
May I make a humble suggestion? I would seriously think about adding some screenshots on your website. The way I see things, screenshots are the best way to showcase your work. I would never download a game without seeing what it look like first. Then again, that's just my two cents.

Re: Backgrounds for custom menus
Custom menus eh? I feel your pain, I've been through that part myself and had to ask a huge bunch of questions before I finally got mine up and running. I just redirected the buttons on the main menu to my own functions instead of altering existing menus (excluding that little tweek to main menu) Al...

Re: Image system not working, really peeved.....
If it worked before but it doesn't now, maybe you archived the files. If so, then it becomes case sensitive. So when you try to find the image file to load you need to spell it exactly the same way as it says in the file name. You can't use load image "candle.jpg" if the file is called "Candle.jpg"

So that's why mine won't align properly. I put menu window instead of menu choice, silly me.

Re: Altering menu positions
Thanks for the replies, one problem still remains. How do I align the menu text to the left instead of having it centered? I don't mean the menu position, I mean the text itself.

Re: Keeping current scene when using jump command [Solved]
I'll just use this thread instead of making a new one: what's the appropriate method of turning ui.textbutton("Skip", clicked=toggle_skipping) into an imagebutton within the game menu on the textbox? I found this: http://www.renpy.org/wiki/renpy/doc/reference/functions/ui.imagebutton but I'm not su...
