I'm sorry for hurting your eyes, guys... (with all the colors, and the chibi sprites.....) Like I mentioned above, though, they're all placeholders, so hopefully when I get real graphics, it won't hurt so much. And the characters will definetly not be chibi-ish in the real game (I just borrowed the ...

Yay, comments! It looks like everyone really liked the intro, which is good. Alright, let's get to work... PyTom>> I'm glad you liked it. There is a mystery to the whole story, but it shouldn't get too dark. I'm not planning on delving into Higurashi territory. I'm glad you liked EVTV. It was fun to...

I've played Nanaca Crash as well, fun time, fun times.

I heard there was a translation project in the works, so I'm hoping it sees completion. I'd like to play the game...

Evergreen Valley Demo

With the recent wave of demos hitting these boards lately, I'm sure one more won't hurt anybody. So, here it is... Evergreen Valley! Brief summary : Two weeks ago, Noah Hunter moved back into his old house with his sister in the small town of Evergreen Valley, a place he hasn't visited in six long y...

DaFool: I finally got around to trying out Geomancer Chronicles and saw the NHK allusion there. That made me grin a bit.

On another note, this show still rocks. We've got six episodes now, and it only gets better and better. I just hope the show doesn't lose this momentum.

Welcome to the NHK!

I'm actually surprised no one else brought this one up, considering the subject matter in the last few episodes. Just in case you haven't seen it, Welcome to the NHK (NHK ni Youkoso) is about Tatsuhiro Satou, who is a hikokomori (somebody who withdrawls from society and hides in their room all day),...

I'll offer my assistance. I'm confident I could tell a decent story (and I can do the associated programming). Do you have any work done already? Any sketches, a plot outline, or even any vague ideas?

There's a pretty cool Hanafuda minigame thing on Fate Hollow Ataraxia... But I had no idea how to play it (or what it was called) until I played through this demo...

I'd have to say my favorite has always been episode 1, Asahina Mikuru no Bouken. It was the first, it was the best. It is the perfect introduction to this series and this one episode parallels the entire series so well. It become obvious later on how well Yuki, Mikuru, and Koizumi fit into their ass...

Ah, another great episode, as expected of the finale. A really fitting end to a really great series, although it is a bit of a shame it's over already. Of course I'm hoping for a second season, but I'd like to see an english release of the books even more. Even though it was the finale of Suzumiya H...

Or maybe a tag team combo like Hisui and Kohaku? Eh, I don't use them that much... better with Ciel...

But I did like the pic. Good for a quick laugh, and I recognized the background instantly... Ah, that would be cool if only it was real...

Any chance of summarizing the original official statements? I think they were already pulled by the time I check both websites... Haeleth's forum is a pretty good read, but I'm kinda scared to go find the Hongfire thread..... Any summaries on that too? (Wait, I can take a guess! PATCHPATCHPATCHPATCH...

This kind of thing scares me (and it's at the worst possible time too). I'm only mildly interested in Wind, so there's no way I would actually buy the game. If NNL continues this firm stance on anti-piracy (which they really should) >sigh<, oh well... Life goes on. It's also great that haeleth and h...

There should be a second season, though. With its popularity, it'd be hard to imagine KyoAni not doing a second season. To touch on a point mentioned earlier, I think the episodes are out of order to mirror the novels. The novels are out of chronological order, too, although maybe not to the same ex...

X/1999 was good (although not one of my favorites), and I can definetly see the similarities. X may have done it better than FSN, but X didn't have to overcome the biggest obstacle that faced the anime version of Fate: how to deal with the multi-path story. There's no way everything could have been ...
