Re: Customizing menus

How did you get your menu in that place instead of center of the screen? Did you change some styles or code in "screens.rpy"?
[just make some more changes there]

Re: Different font for textbuttons

Did this code worked for you? Did you get an error message or unexpected behaviour?
[ 1) have you declared <style.button_text['Foo']>? 2) I'm afraid that <while True:> will hang your comp up... ]

Then

Code: Select all

$ style.gallery_nav_frame.background = None

Re: CG Gallery Navigation

In <init:> block you change the style of "gallery_nav_frame" and <ui.frame(style='gallery_nav_frame')> is using that style. So uncomment back the frame and try to add one more style

Code: Select all

$ style.gallery_nav_frame.background = null()
that sets the background of the frame to "nothing". Might work...

Re: Scene changes

Mmm, a possible solution: 1) declare all backgrounds like <image bg different_names = "different_filenames.png:> 2) first time show new background using <scene> statement 3) if you need to keep characters onscreen and change background - use <show bg another_name> ('cause both BGs will have the same...

Re: Regarding items and if statements

What do you mean - "doesn't work"?
It gave you an error or both things are in "items", but condition does not match? (are you shure that BOTH "note" and "rock" are in "items", 'cause it works for me?)
