Re: [Demo!] The World is Made of Paper

Mac and Linux versions added. Unfortunately, the forum refuses to accept any of my direct uploads, so I was forced to use Megaupload. I can try to get some alternate mirrors up if they're requested.

Re: [Demo!] The World is Made of Paper

@James: Thank you! Also... The demo is finally released! Get the Windows version here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=C2HV2OZ3 Mac and Linux versions coming tomorrow. The demo is just over 37,000 words in length, with three full demo endings, and one bad end. It should take somewhere around one and a ...

Bam, title screen. If the demo's not out in the next two days, I will eat my laptop.

Re: [WIP] The World is Made of Paper

I don't normally like bumping things like this, but I felt I should do so right now, with the announcement that the demo should be out within a week. All I need are two and a half CGs, one background, and about three expressions for sprites at this point. Also, I need to convince myself that I don't...

Re: WIP - Planet Stronghold, a light-RPG in space

Yeah, I went with Guardian, so that would probably explain it. It's not that I was never hitting, I was just hitting infrequently enough to put me at a serious disadvantage in battle. Anyways, yeah, just a simple accuracy boost earlier on could probably help things quite a bit. A lot of the blandnes...

Re: WIP - Planet Stronghold, a light-RPG in space

I tried playing the demo. I thought the idea of the setting was pretty cool, and art is obviously high quality, so I figured I'd give it a shot, even if I don't have the cash to get the full version. The demo struck me as having a few problems, though. To be entirely honest, I couldn't bring myself ...

Re: Vera Blanc 3 tech demo

I'm going to have to agree that the 3-D model on that background really just... doesn't look good. I don't like being so blunt, but in this case I really feel like it would ruin the game. It's even more disappointing that the model is so obviously from Poser, as well. If you really want to take this...

Re: [Updated!] Papa Pirate, Baby Bandit. (Potential GxB, GxG

This game looks fun. I have to confess that I really liked Princess Maker, and this seems like a pretty fun twist to the concept. the graphics are very nice, too. I couldn't help but analyze the walking sprite, though. For the most part, it looks quite nice, but the coloring of the hair doesn't seem...

Re: WIP: Our Crossing Paths otome visual novel

I'm sorry, I really didn't intend it as an insult at all. I guess I just tend to be a little picky about these sorts of things.

Anyways, I'll leave you alone, and let you continue with your project.

Re: WIP: Our Crossing Paths otome visual novel

"The image I had in mind was completely white hair, eyes of light shade of blue or gray-ish tint, and skin that's not utterly as white as bedsheets but not a light tan color." Actually, most people with albinism have blue eyes. So really, if this is the only thing you're worried about, you're set if...

Re: WIP: Our Crossing Paths otome visual novel

It's interesting to see an otome game on here with characters outside of high school age. I'm also a bit intrigued about how the setting seems to be setting up for something more realistic and serious than most of the ones I've seen. However, I couldn't help but be bothered by this: "Inherited a par...

Re: Secret Santa 2010

Oh, wow, those are absolutely adorable. I particularly like the Auria one. Thank you so much. I'm really happy to hear that you've enjoyed the game so much, too. Sailerius' reaction when I sent the sketch to him: "I, um, wow. That's too adorable! XD" I really look forward to seeing the final version...

Re: Ruins and Heaven (GxB VN - WIP)

I'm glad I could be of some help, even if it was just through a short comment. XD I have to agree about the character designs. They each have distinct hair and I personally rather like it when characters have an accessory or two to place them apart from each other. They look nice. If I had to compla...

Re: [WIP] The World is Made of Paper (Proofreaders Wanted)

Updated with a wonderful logo created by Auro_Cyanide! The same logo will be used in the title screen, which I can hopefully get done with pretty quickly. Sorry for the lack of updates recently. The holidays were unexpectedly busy, and I was hardly able to get online at all. Fortunately, things are ...
