Re: Renpy can't detect JDK

I've had that problem before and never could resolve it, unfortunately. I think it's to do with pathing (possibly in %PATH%), but I tried all sorts od things to no avail.

The annoying thing is java can be called from the command line

Re: Performance warning

No, it's done it again. I'll see if defaulting to OpenGL will solve it

Re: Performance warning

Yes, it's. Multiple continual reloads were working as I was typing my last message, so I'll try again and see if it was just coindence or not.

Re: Performance warning

I will do tomorrow. For some reason the reloading is working now, which coincidentally started with the latest Microsoft update, so I need to get that checked first

Re: Trojan found in 32bit-exe version of compiled game for markets!

It's a known issue (had it with my NRFTF), unfortunately with over-zealous AV programs.

Probably the best way to "fix" it is to drop 32-bit executables altogether

Screen is set for 1280 x 720. All movies are set for that resolution as well (but none play ingame)

Re: Performance warning

The RX supports OpenGL 4+, and it does find everything (and run) until a few reloads are done.

I wonder if it's AMD specific...

Re: Performance warning

I think Ren'Py is running out of memory, due to the time taken to get the interface ready. I wonder if Windows logs will provide any help.

Beyond that, there doesn't seem to be any changes that could cause it.

Re: Performance warning

It's Windows 10 Home (20H2) and Radeon RX 560 - with the latest drivers, and DX12).

This only happened with the current version - with 7.3 I could reload to my hearts content.

Performance warning

With 7.4, I've been getting this warning message every 2 or 3 times a project is reloaded from within the game (CTRL+R).

Any idea of the cause ?

I've included the log file too

Re: Magnifying an area

I believe she has a dynamic magnifying glass effect (probably based on mouse positioning).

CDT certainly look the way to go. Thanks !
