Rika: The best way to do that is to realize two things: (a) Visual art, while it does have standards of beauty, can be very subjective (b) The artist is always biased towards his work - either positively, or negatively, but always, always biased. Your best bet is to have someone you trust/respect ta...

Oooh, nice logo ^_^

Most of the upcoming chages sound great, from what I can grasp (which, admittedly, isn't anywhere near everything).

I write fairly quickly and should be free around October-ish if you want my help writing the demo/tutorial gmae Py'tom ^_^

Soft Landing - shooter/bishoujo hybrid

Found this (in production) game on Heisei Democracy and did a forum search here and found it wasn't on anybody's radar (unless it had another name before - couldn't find it on mikey's authoritative encyclo either) so thought I'd bring it up: Soft Landing is a hybrid of a side-scrolling space shoot-e...

*laughs* Oh yes, I'm a big Ender fan... Not so much the Bean saga, but the original quartet, especially the first three - some really great stuff ^_^ The most direct influence for me choosing a sci fi story though would be Lois McMaster Bujold's Vorkosigan Saga - excellent, excellent stuff. Those fa...

- Freeness - Demo Goodness ^_^ - Quality available games-ness - Forum and creator helpfulness Expanded portion: Obviously the fct that a full version is available free is what first got me intereested. Then the demo (and Eileen :P) did a very good job giving a glimpse of the potential of the engine ...

Yup I've been following it ^_^ Its good, light fun. Saito makes a fair protagonist - not the oh so un-sympathetic typical harem lead (who is either a loser or a letch) - not that he isn't a bit of either. [See his idea for a 'performance' in Episode 5.] I get the idea though that they're leaving out...

Wow busy few days ciel ^_^ Just a heads up about going back to the US though - what with that 'liquid bomb' plot they recently uncovered, make sure you're not bringing anything liquid (even a bottled water) onto the plane - if they even allow hand carry stuff by then. Oh and good luck with the conte...

I think the amount of text between events - or text in general really - partly also depends on the nature/personality of your point of view character. If you're using an impersonal third person narrator, then it really is a matter almost solely of pacing and exhaustiveness of description. If you're ...

Thanks for the permissions you guys ^_^ I promise I'll be faithful to the... well, a tad OOC, but it *is* just for fun :P Nothing lewd though - no Negima style stripping of the pretty girls. *sniff* :P MMZ: Oh, I haven't seen that yet! I must rectify that now... Moni: *cheers at new demo* Now back t...

The facial expressions definately will change in the actual game (even in the cleaned up demo really). As for the coloring... well, that's under negotiation ^_^ Music, I'll have to learn how to do/find... I'm really glad you liked the story ciel ^_^ Which of the girls did you pick, first run through...

*laughs* Thanks for the compliment, but its really just different art styles. Besides, the original is the inspiration, and that's something a secondary work can't give. ;)

Ren'Py Heroines Comic?

Well, alright, this is a really random idea, but since sometimes I like doing little drawings of other people's characters, I was wondering when I was drawing Aina (from GO!MB) if people would permit me [or whoever wants to join in] to occassionally put up simple little comic strips with their chara...
