Jake: Sent you the demo. ^_^ Thanks! (Anyone else with rapidshare probs, let me know 'k?) BCS: You mean the demo? October definately. As for the game itself... Eheh, no idea. Its the art/effects that'll take time though - I could finish the entire story in a week. monele: Yay! ^_^ Glad it you liked ...

Erm - that's the thing. Honestly I feel it's still embarrassingly rough... and there's the fact that it's using commercial CGs. Hence the 'limited' release :P But... Well I suppose this would save time. Those who want to wait until October can just wait a bit, and if the CG backgrounds are a problem...

That's quite a variety of mediums there - or at least it looks it to my uneducated eyes :P I think I like the last picture the most, losing entry or no ^_^

Very Rough Demo

== VERY ROUGH DEMO == Well, I'm going to be a bit... er, quite a bit busy for the next two months, so I don't know if I'll be able to spit and polish the demo enough for me to be comfortable 'releasing' it before October... But since sno-dove requested it I do happen to have a rough demo on hand ri...

Aina fanart

Didn't really know where best to put this but... Anyway, just to show my appreciation for the hard work on the game, I did some Aina fanart. Its not much, but, its the thought that counts right? ^_^ http://img446.imageshack.us/img446/9088/ainauu6.jpg Ugh... its not too obvious but I have her wearing...

A bit late, but likewise, I find it very very helpful - for someone like me with zilch programming experience - to help me focus more on the story-telling than the programming. The color codes help a lot ^_^

*laughs* Have to admit the actual card game is still voer my head - but I liked the story mode a lot. Great art and excellent dialogue. Even with a few lines the girls are already distinct - including Lemma ^_^ ... Oh yes, Gaji too :P

Everyone's given good advice already... Here's my two cents then: I agree that you start with your characters first - have at least some idea as to: (a) their personalities (b) their initial relationships (c) how you want these personalities/relationships to change. Then think of the main events you...

*boggles at the sheer amount of posts* I thought for a moment someone had revived an old thread. Then I saw that this started what, 2-3 days ago? :P Anyway, I come late to the party so really don't have much more to say. * New Webpage and Eileen: Both are looking very good. ^_^ * Demo/Intro Thingie:...

Hiya!

Im new here myself. Dont know if this will help you any but you might want to check this thread of jake's: http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1149

It has a way to show portraits and the like. Maybe there's a way you could only use it for part-game.

Hehe I could but it does put you at an even greater disadvantage than Del since Rori won't really be taking you seriously. I'd need a game covering a longer span of time to do it right... Especially with Rori's pecuilar circumstances. Still it's definately something to consider for next time... ... ...

musical74: Thanks for the compliment! :) Well if you take Cordelia's path, then you get the chance to melt away her ire. Of course you have to deal with that ire at much closer range than if you don't take her path... :P mikey: *laughs* I'm the same way Thought I'd play with stereo-types with the fi...
