Re: Persona 3

*laughs* The same, though you could see from the non-comic comments on the PA site that the fact it pulled them i despite the high school setting shows the quality of the game. Its not really a 'gun' they shoot themselves with, but it does make for arresting imagery - you can see the attention to de...

Re: Persona 3

Not that I know of unfortunately :( There are some youtube trailers/videos and some of those might have gameplay (though a lot are for the expanded edition released in Japan). I know there is a video of the first 40 minutes or so of the game - good to set up the story, but not to show the dating gam...

Persona 3

I was debating for awhile whether to put this in this forum or the general video game forum, but while I am not all that far into the game as of yet, the "dating sim" elements (dialogue choices, stat building that influences social relationships, choosing who to talk to/spend time with during your f...

Re: 2007 Animax Awards

Or the winning entry was simply very well-written, or they were looking for something out of the ordinary. *shrugs*

Re: 2007 Animax Awards

*laughs* Sadly no, I too fell by the wayside in this contest. If anyone is interested in doing a VN version of my submitted script "The Song Unheard" just let me know and I'll send the file. I'd do it myself but have too much on my plate right now @_@; Excerpts: THE SONG UNHEARD To speak for those w...

Re: The ELECT: Superheroes go ren'ai (Status and Recruitment)

Status Update: 27 July 2007 Well, finally finished the first scene of part 2. Roughly 2,500 words. Midway I decided I needed to flesh out the rest of my outline a bit before continuing... that's the problem with concluding a long story, you have to make sure you have all the loose ends tie up nice ...

Crafting In-Game Romances (Article)

A few tips from Chris Avellone, culled from his experience at Obsidian/Bioware, which is fairly extensive as his games have, since Baldur's Gate II way back, always had some sort of romantic possibility (as opposed to a scripted FFVIII type romance) with one or more NPCs. Really more for RPG games t...

Re: How productive are you?

Depends on the scene I'm writing. If its an everyday scene, or a comedic scene where I can be free to let my characters banter, then I can write 1,000+ an hour I think. (Never really timed myself, but I've done 8,000 in a day and I doubt I spent more than 8 hours writing that day). Action, atmospher...

Re: The ELECT: Superheroes go ren'ai (Status and Recruitment)

Moni: *laughs* You like to live dangerously doncha? :P DaFool: Hehe... we aim to please. Drake: Thanks again for the Ren'Py word count! Me? Playing favorites? Heaven forbid! :P Its just easier drawing simpler characters... and Cyn is quite a bit simpler than a certain albino friend, inside and out. ...

Re: The ELECT: Superheroes go ren'ai (Status and Recruitment)

Status Update: July 2, 2007 Finally done with the first part of the True Path. Word tells me it clocks in at 87,759 words (inclusive of some comments, and the character names when they speak). I'm sure Drake can give us a more accurate word count later on. Phew. I made the right decision I think ju...
