Well, the translation is en route, but... It will be done when it'll be done :D
The most important is that the translation is good, whatever time it takes.
I'm rooting for the translator! (maybe he hears me heh)

{H} CROSS CHANNEL

Has anyone ever played this game and finished it? I think this game is one of the best written bishoujo game. It implies a wide range of subjects ranging from mere "adult themes" to the very core of human relationships. The way every character is depicted, the references in history, in modern cultur...

Oh another frenchie :) As far as I know, you have to directly modify the script so that you have distinct versions, one french and one english. But I think that it can be possible with if statements somehow... although I don't know how you could possibly detect the language you want to use... That w...

By "learnt on the ground" I only meant, when you started playing with Ren'Py in order to create nifty effects, such as lights (overexposure flash, linear shade...), sound (transitions, sfx, music...), image manipulation (move)... Well, all the kind of nice "basic" effects you can use in a story. Cal...

I agree, Ren'Py becomes more and more famous when it comes to Ren'Ai game making. I wondered if special transitions techniques learnt on the ground were to be part of the demo. I also wondered if there was a plan for a style GUI, I mean a script editor tool that would help creating the main parts of...

Thank you everybody for being a part of this "survey". I'm trying to pinpoint what are the likes or the dislikes in a story, or rather what are the global responses to some events. I've not been trying to set categories, whatever the choice, I think it's not a part of any categorization, but rather ...

Things to consider when you write a script

Hello, I'm trying to find what are the main things to consider in a script so that people will like it.

I think that finding a good balance between the likes and dislikes is important, so...

I'm watching this one :D It's funny and well animated, but I think it still lacks something... There are no real surprises (I even knew who was the mysterious thief in episode 6 before it aired), but the world that is being described is quite interesting. So I think I'll continue to watch a little w...

Wow, that's a game :!: :!: I really liked it and I particularly appreciated the script. There was emotion and the characters are so well described, their interwined relationships, the music, the menus animation... I LOVED EVERYTHING! It's a game I'm quickly adding to my references for sure. Good job!

In my country, newspapers have to blur people face so as not to have to pay the individuals who claim their public image use. Although I don't know if that rule applies internationally, I think it's best to have the written acknowledgement of the people you use in any media you're planning to create...

I think the solution would be a function that enables an image to be able to be shrinked or expanded by only its width, then reverted while the height doesn't move by a little. The effect isn't nice though (even in flash), but it's still like a "coin flip" effect. Wait, there's this function... im.S...

There are a lot of alternatives when it comes to writing a visual novel. You can either have a multiple path scenarii, just like in Fate/stay Night, a straight one, like in Narcissu, or chaotic one, like in Maple Colors. Whatever your choice, the simplest one is to make a straight one, so you can fo...

Here's an artwork I made for a contest (and the reason why I have my subscription at deviantART now ^-^) That's quite a nice art. Maybe the image dynamics are what is lacking on your drawing, but as I randomly browsed through your entire gallery, I found out this one did only lack this. By image dy...

Monele, I wonder how you managed to handle that type of SFX looping. Actually I wanted to play a sfx for a certain amount of time with your technique then use the renpy.pause method so that I would stop and fade the SFX, but I can't seem to make it work... (even by using different channels) $ renpy....
