Re: Untitled GxB game
Haha, I'm glad everyone approves of the butler's beard...I was torn between including it or not. I'm working on Emma and Frederick's parents now (Sir and Lady Tarleton), and have very quickly learned that older people are very difficult to draw. Fortunately, after I finish them, I'll have my core ca...

Well, from the perspective of a newbie...
Word: for writing.
Onenote: for planning, webbing, mapping, etc.
Inkscape: for art, although I have only scratched the surface level of its capabilities. I downloaded Gimp once, and it was scary.
Picasa: for photo viewing/editing.

Re: [WIP] Yukionna (Looking for a BG artist)
This looks like a really cool project! The plot really grabbed me; it seems very fairytale meets apocalypse meets high school life. The art looks great too, and a little cyberpunk (I can almost see Case and Molly from Neuromancer in the drawings of Kyle and Yuki), and the antihero seems like a compe...

Re: Fantasia, Requiem of The Abyss (Demo 1st page)
Aw, the assassin is cute! I like how you build a fantasy world in your games with so many unique characters.
Also, I love the way you draw your characters' eyes.
And I concur with Ruruka --> more Raven.

Re: Untitled GxB game
He looks cool enough for me! However, I think that pose is more 'seducing' than 'sarcastic'. :P Mwahaha. I fail at drawing sarcastic body language. It's supposed to be a kind of "Oh, your highness, I tip my hat to you because you are so worthy of my subservience" kind of thing. But I do see your po...

Re: Untitled GxB game
Ohh this sounds amazing! :D I can't wait! We definitely need more GxB games. And don't be silly, the art is perfectly fine! I love it. :) Good luck and keep us updated. I think I was a little insecure about the art because I was comparing myself with others, which in the end is really pointless. I ...

Re: Untitled GxB game
Thanks for the support guys! I was a little concerned that having an older heroine might be a turn-off because most of the GxB games I've seen have high school-aged protagonists. I'm happy that people would still be willing play something like this. :D Writing from the perspective of a woman is more...

Re: Fantasia, Requiem of The Abyss (Demo 1st page)
Yay, this looks just as cute as the first game!
I like Valen's character...she's a little spitfire (unlike most generic game heroines).
She has a very defined personality, which (to me) is always a plus.
My favorite is Raven...but then, I always like the smart ones.
I hope your exams go/went well.

I hope you continue working on this project if/when you have time, because I'd be very interested to see how it turns out.
Interesting premise, interesting plot development...good work so far.

Untitled GxB game
*note: sorry for the awkward length of this post and all the images...* Hi everyone! I'm new here, but I've actually been lurking around these forums for quite some time now, and I thought I would make my presence finally known. (I apologize for my English in advance.) I've actually recently begun w...

Re: Your Stereotypes
Interesting thread... Well...because I was raised in Mexico, I must be drug dealer and an illegal immigrant. I'm a university student with a large merit-based scholarship, a legal immigrant and soon-to-be citizen, I pay my taxes and work in a chemistry lab. I do not inhale, inject, or smoke anything...

Your art looks so cool! It's very beautiful and unique. And your plot/storytelling style sounds interesting too.
Don't worry about finishing your game by the deadline. Take your time and make it the best that it can be.
I'm really looking forward to this.

This looks like a beautiful game! I'm sorry I don't have any programming skills; I wish I could help you more, but I'll just have to support you from behind the scenes. Good luck, and I'm really looking forward to this!

Re: Fantasia, The Realm of Thanos v 1.2 is now up!
Aw, this was a really cute game. I really liked the fantasy setting and the revelation about the relationship between Oswald and the White Lady. The secret ending was great! :P The art was really cute too, and I like your style a lot. There were a few grammatical errors, but nothing too bothersome (...
