Re: Post your photo

I need a haircut, I swear. I've been mistaken for a girl before. Twice. Also, we have a larger female population here on LSF than I originally thought. Suddely, I'm starting to feel like a minority.

Very talented! I don't have all my characters known yet, but I do need some work done, and your prices are very reasonable. I'll shoot you a PM later :]

Re: Steve Jobs: A Great Man

I can't really talk about Jobs, because I don't know enough about him. What I can say though, is that I'm greatful for his contributions to the tech world. I use my iPhone for everything, from communication, to games. He was an innovator, and I thank him for what he did. He will be missed.

Re: All Are Invited - I need a swift kick in the pants

I'd be interested in helping with editing, and writing. I could use a break from my own project. I was thinking of doing my own horror project, but I don't think I have the resources, so I'm more than willing to jump on ship with this.

Re: Script-writing and plot-branching

Having a game end in multiple ways is actually pretty easy. Yes, there's coding for ending a game, but you have to do all the work! Here's a quick example: label start: a "Hey let's get married!" menu: "Okay!": jump married "No!": jump single label married: a "We got married!" "Good Ending." return ...

Pretty creepy if you ask me. I love visiting abandoned places because there's always this certain atmosphere that just sends chills down your spine.

Granted, but it will bankrupt SEGA because of production costs.

I wish I could do calculus.

Re: School Clubs

A math club or a chess club, or maybe even a debate club. I've been part of the last two, and they were always fun for me. I've also always wanted to join a math club, but currently my school doesn't offer anything of the sort, and it would be very hard to get people interested in one if I tried to ...

Let's see...3 days left, lots of art still needed to be completed, lots and lots of writing still not done...

Yup. I'm gonna try again next year. Good luck to all who are staying up all night to finish their projects!

Re: NaNoRenO for 2011!!!!

Working on mine now, but I don't think it'll be finished in time. I might just release a quick preview though. A quick preview of one scene from it though. (I'm seriously not paying my artist enough) As soon as I get some more work done on it I'll probably create a WIP thread. I don't want to jump t...

Re: Starting the story

Also no on learning too much at the beginning. On the project I'm working on now I just let the player jump right into the story. I give probably give about 5 lines of background because that's all I feel is necessary. The problem with giving them too much information in the beginning is that what c...
