Re: LSF@10 Planning [was: Day counter on site...]

Could use this to poll forummers' geographical distribution. http://www.mapservices.org/myguestmap/map/lemmasoftmap Not sure if HTML is parsed in forum posts (probably not from what I remember of phpBB3), but maybe there's a way for Pytom to embed this map to a forum page somewhere so everyone can s...

Re: Day counter on site...

10 years is indeed worth celebrating. This site has made its fair share of impact in VN history, I think. Maan, it would really be awesome if everyone on the forum could have a meet-up and party hard together Oh well, maybe another time! XD Not a bad idea at all...has there been meet ups for the lem...

Re: What TV Show fandoms are you in?

Did my murder mystery have two equally valid suspects (maybe I was using one as a red herring)? Let's have the other guy be the actually guilty party in the adaptation. I boo at this... Even using your many-worlds interpretation this makes for a completely different story. It's different from your ...

Re: Where are the BxGs?

This message feels like needless drivel. Anyone who is inclined to post "SQUEE SO COOL xD" will not magically improve the quality of their posts through a warning there, and all it does to me is present a sort of quasi-elitist flair where people must be both literate and assertive in advancing a th...

Re: Hope~ Symphony of Tomorrow[BxG][Romance,Comedy,Drama] Al

My style is to just insert it without any kind of explanation. I think it's a common enough practice in English literature to add foreign words to stories set in foreign locals. I've seen terminology like "Laoshi," (Chinese for teacher) "Fraulein," (German for Miss) and "Ecole" (French for school) ...

Re: Hope~ Symphony of Tomorrow[BxG][Romance,Comedy,Drama] Al

About the honorifics, It's a tough decision. I also like them a lot, especially when trying to show subtle things about relationships(respect, seniority, etc). If I had to remove them from the game I would have to adjust some passings in order to maintain the context. For now I'm writing them as I ...

Re: Adversity Comp - Visual Novel Writing Contest - Sept 201

I have a suggestion for the later presentation of all submissions: Since you are bundling them together as one big game package so that all games share the resources, I assume it's something like a top-level "game menu", which contains the code from the games submitted. If so, then you can easily us...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

Also splurge is a disgusting sounding word. It really is. So, guys, I have something to tell you. You know cel-painted animation? That thing nobody does anymore? Yeah, the painters of those cels were gods that walked among us. I just painted my first practice "cel" (really a Xerox transparency). Gr...
