Re: How high should I set my goal on kickstarter?
I've done several kickstarters for both myself and others' projects. The more details you have pinned down, the more successful you are likely to be. Based on the information given here, I don't believe you are ready to consider a Kickstarter at this time. Whether or not you'll be ready come Decembe...

Re: [PAID] Looking for GUI Artist
I'm interested in applying. Here's my current thread.
Because of the educational purposes and intent to distribute, I believe this could be done at a different rate from my usual (for commercial games) and am more than happy to negotiate this with you.
Feel free to reach out to me through PMs.

Oh is that how it was done? I was wondering.
As an aside, this project and how it broke Pytom pop into my head every so often.

I use yED and Articy Draft. They've both been handy programs for keeping track.

Re: Coders: question on Sprites...
I've seen this method used a lot with mouths/eyes and occasionally arms but have to say that cutting in half completely is new to me. As Imperf3kt points out, it'd be great for saving space. The only downside I can think of is finagling code if you're new to it (as I believe you said in the first p...

Congrats on the release. The background art looks really lovely. May I ask what you mean by "evolving background"? I'm guessing it has something to do with the singular setting? Can't wait to check it out when I have a chance.

Congrats on your release. I love to see LGBT+ games, especially love to see non-binary representations.

Congrats on the release! Always nice to see more stuff from you as well as more GxG titles. The character art looks cute, as does the UI.

Re: Not-so Permanent NVL-to-ADV switch
I've used something similar to the above method and it's worked well. Specifically I used ADV for dialogue and NVL for narrative.
Just remember to add the "nvl clear" command after the nvl lines (if not every line, then whenever you switch to ADV, at your discretion.)
