Re: Creative Commons Board?

It would depend how useful that really is to us though, no? If, hypothetically, half the creators of the resources decide not to include them because they don't want their work used in porn or hate games, is that particularly beneficial to us? The creator's get the say in what licence their work is...

Re: Games with agendas and propaganda games

Now, towards us, as a game-making community. How do you feel about games that try to further an agenda - vegetarianism, religion (or both of them), feminism, LGBT rights, copyright liberalization, banning pornography, or whatever it may be? Just to show how prevalent and hidden propaganda is, which...

Proportion Guide

I trust no one will take this the wrong way. :D There are a few striking errors I spot quite often here which everyone makes until they learn otherwise. Eye Proportions No matter what size you make your eyes there should be exactly one eye length between them. A greater separation and the person wil...

Re: Art Learning Resources

For 3D you have the Autodesk lineup. Autodesk is to 3D what Adobe is to 2D. They recently purchased all the competition. That is why they sell so many programs that do the same thing. They are ... Maya - Maya is the gold standard of 3D and has been for some time now. It is a good all rounder and is ...

I don't think I see him here so I would like to Highly recommend anything associated with Robert Beverly Hale . Mainly his translation of Artistic Anatomy by Richer and his lectures on Artistic Anatomy (the best Anatomy video I have seen) You can watch lecture 1 in its entirety on youtube http://www...

OK, my turn. Here is a VN project I started, and quickly, abandoned about a year ago. (Oh do I have a folder full of different incomplete project pictures and scripts.) I guess that just the common course of learning to do a thing. I guess. maybe.

I like working alone. People are crazy, all of them. Still, finishing anything is a tough nut when working alone. Damn tough nut.

Re: Animation Dump!

You know, something like blender would be marvelously powerful for 2D animation. Disadvantage is a extremely steep learning curve, though most of the material is free, and inefficiency compared to most other professional solutions. As far rich feature set and price - you can't beat that. Draw in gim...

You will all comit suicide soon if you continue to use photoshop for animation. Toon Boom products are more tailored to the needs of animators. Anime Studio as well.

Re: Writing about cancer...

Cancer is just cells that have lost the knowledge to stop multiplying. If it is lumped together, an attempt may be made to cut it out. Chemotherapy kills multiplying cells. If the cancer she has is fast growing, the faster the better, chemotherapy has a chance of killing it. Radiation works by bomba...

Re: Pen Tablet Recommendations?

Cintiq is an intuos on a screen. That's all. If they appear to have different specs that is because the Cintiq version release always falls behind the tablet release. I've owned a few Wacoms over the years. A large Intuos (first, I think) is unusable, not because it stopped working, but an antiquate...
