Making a matching minigame
Is it possible to make a match game in Ren'Py? Basically, you have a series of pictures and you have to match each one by clicking on the two matching pictures? (see the example picture below)

Re: How do you prevent a user from rolling back so far? (sol
Does this apply for the entire game? For example, what if you want the player to be able to rollback 5-7 lines in one scene, but you don't want them to be able to rollback at all in another scene? Do you have to declare that config.rollback_limit line each time you want to change the limit? By the w...

Re: Cardgame framework question
PyTom: I understand that part. You have to do constant evaluations, which would really slow the system down if it has to keep doing this with every move you make. What about something in terms of a TCG (Trading Card Game) opposed to a Poker game? Would a TCG (like making the mechanics and AI) be eve...

Cardgame framework question
I'm wondering. What would be needed to create the AI for an opponent (CPU) for the cardgame framework? For example, suppose you wanted to make a poker game. Would the AI just consist of timers and random numbers to choose which card it would play? Is it possible to do timers in Ren'Py? And I mention...

Re: How hidden object genre could be added in VN game?
yeah I was looking to make a HoG-type of minigame in my RenPy game, but the features needed for it hasn't really been implemented yet.
And a mouse-dragging feature would be AWESOME, as I've been trying to find a way to be able to drag images around the screen with the mouse.

Moving objects/pictures around the screen with the mouse
I would like to know about possibly moving images around the screen by clicking on the image and dragging around with the mouse.
Are you able to do this yet in Ren'Py or Python/PyGame at all?

Items to click and drag around the screen
Is there a way to make images that you can click and drag around the screen? I was trying to do something like a jigsaw puzzle. I looked on the Pygame site, but I didn't see any jigsaw puzzle games so I wasn't sure if it was possible to do in Python/Ren'py or not...

Re: Customizing the save/load/menu screens
So everything on the preferences starts with a u? So are these parameters right for the default Preferences screen? Will the program know which boxes I'm trying to move? Display --> u'Display' Skip Messages --> u'Skip Messages' Music Volume --> u'Volume' Sound Volume --> u'Sound Volume' Voice Volume...

Re: Customizing the save/load/menu screens
Yeah, I was looking at that page. Is the only way to change the preferences screen is via an image map? I was just trying to move the default boxes around (like move the music volume box to a certain x/y-coordinate).

Re: Customizing the save/load/menu screens
Thank you very much :D This helps a lot! Alright, this works for the Main Menu Screen (title screen), and I tried to apply this to the preferences screen, however, I keep getting this error: ScriptError: Name u'preferences_screen' is defined twice: at C:\Users\Admin\Desktop\renpy-6.11.0\Sample games...
