You can leave the scene without music and leave the sound of a clock (or traffic) in its place while the character is thinking somenting ("that girl is too late".... whatever).

Oh, I like them C: I was expecting the second one to have a slower rythm/beat/tempo/whatever, though (sorry, I'm not familiar with musical terms, so please bear with me)., making it so fast doesn't give me the impression of something eerie or creepy... or maybe I'm just wrong and this monster town ...
