The approach I take is hiding whoever character you play as, except during CGs, or scenes where you're not actually playing as them.

It's not as much putting you in the player's foes as it is seeing through their eyes.

I've always thought the game industry was elitist, but never realized the bad working conditions. Good thing I am going into psychology instead of games! :O
