Maybe it is the font.. Weird.. Seems to work when I use the default.ttf from the Umineko translation.. So I have this working.. I guess??

Looks kinda flat. Sure, you have the gradient, but there really isn't much depth to anything. The eyes also look weird. I'm also sure guys' shoulders should be at least a bit wider away from the head. Unless it's intended to be simply chibi? Another concern I have is where are his arms!?
