Re: Ebi's sketchbook - pic heavy - potentially NSFW
Thanks! Though, I still have to burn through thousands of these before I'll actually get it right. Right now I'm using pictures for reference, though I'm trying to figure out a way that I can use myself for gesture drawing and in September I really want to attend live model classes. I guess once you...

Re: Ebi's sketchbook - pic heavy - potentially NSFW
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to help me out. I think I realized what I did wrong. I kept thinking that the line that divides the face in half is the eye line, but it should be the brow line ! So, I'll try another sketch soon and see if I can get it right. But, I agree, I guess if you s...

Some Loomis studies. Ugh. I suck at drawing circles/elipses. http://i848.photobucket.com/albums/ab46/sneakersontelephonewires/Electropuppet-CAsketchbook/scan0108_zpsfd76816e.png http://i848.photobucket.com/albums/ab46/sneakersontelephonewires/Electropuppet-CAsketchbook/scan0109_zps0cbfcf90.png http:...

Re: Productivity Challenge
I think this would be pretty interesting to join, though because of my RSI, my productivity can involuntarily differ greatly per week :/ Anyway, I was just wondering... If you only have one post that you constantly update... Wouldn't the thread eventually get lost in the sea of other threads? And t...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...
My grandma and I went shopping together today and we headed into an arts and crafts store... and I caved in and bought a sketch book. I haven't drawn in a few months and while my art is HORRENDOUS I really want to practice to make it better. Unfortunately, I am now slightly terrified that I won't d...

Re: Ebi's sketchbook - pic heavy - potentially NSFW
Bunch of 45 sec. gestures before school. I'll try to add some life drawing as well later on! I never really know what TO DO when doing gestures:/ I always feel like I'm doing it wrong. http://i848.photobucket.com/albums/ab46/sneakersontelephonewires/scan0107_zps975d4171.png http://i848.photobucket.c...

Critiques are always welcome! ^_^ GOALS: http://i848.photobucket.com/albums/ab46/sneakersontelephonewires/Daggergoals_zps3d967bf5.jpg Every time I finish a section, I'll cross it off the schedule and move on to the next until the whole level is complete. Some notes: L1 = Figure drawing for all it's...

Re: How to draw....helpme
I Agree with all of the above. Study anatomy first, then draw bishies ( ofcourse you can draw them whilst studying anatomy at the same time ;) you'll get a nice time line on how you've improved). Loomis' book is awesome, if you're serious about this, you should definitely look into it. And, buy a sm...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...
A thread like that would be interesting... I hope everything gets cleared up for you Nekomiira! Ok, so, eventhough I'm a grown up, have two pretty good working legs ( albeit with some physical problems :/), and don't have too much trouble walking, my parents are so protective about me that they insi...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...
I'm really stressed out, and a little depressed even, from school. I studied so hard for my exams, I ignored the pain from RSI, put my social life on hold for months, put most of my hobbies on hold, made little sacrifices here and there, etc. etc. And when I got my results back, I had nothing to sho...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...
What I hate the most is when the printer absolutely REFUSES to print a black and white document ( preferences set to "print with black cartridge only"), because apparently the colour cartridge is empty ( which is a lie).

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...
I just remembered a scene... Or more just a flicker of that scene.. Of a children's series I used to watch. I think it's from the UK, and it was based on a book I'd also read. The only thing I remember is that there's a guy and a girl ( his sister?) and presumably a genie of sorts... Because at one ...
