Re: What is your favorite way for a VN to end?

I'm fond of endings that cause you to redefine the entire experience and cast everything in a new light. I guess this is a kind of a twist ending, but the best ones are telegraphed in such a way as to make the viewer go, "That makes perfect sense! Why didn't I see the signs before?" when it happens...

Re: Country Poll

Indonesia. If you don't what it is, then perhaps you know Bali. Since Bali is far more famous than Indonesia that lots of foreigners think Bali is the only island in Indonesia -_- I believe there are several more people from Indonesia here, but I'll wait for them to announce themselves... I know In...

Re: Twitter

Well, I didn't want to mix my facebook with the twitter (I'm still in high school where judging people is a huge daily routine). Not many people (only 2 knows) about my VN life. Sorry love, that doesn't go away. Actually, I was more popular and accepted in high school than college or the "real worl...

Re: Japanese words

In my defense I did add "if you want more flair" to "mademoiselle" (thank you south desert islander for spelling). I actually did add "darling" on the list but then thought it was something only I say, so I nixed it. Can't believe I forgot "Your Highness" and "Your Grace" though! I'll add "Your Holi...

So you did. I forgot your post because it did not contain the usual sarcasm :P

You must just hate country music so much that you didn't even take note of it! O.O

Re: Country Poll

Man we need a call-and-response for North (proper rather than central) America. "U.S."...! (Canadians shout "EH!")

...A Canadian (or even another N./S. American nationality) can think up something for me to shout to support their patriotism too. Rock on New World, I love you!

Those two are French and German, I believe.
Har har. Yeah, I meant "recognizable to English-only audiences". Good call though.

Re: Why are eroge / hentai games less popular here?

And pirates! Lots of pirates! Blackbeard was from Bath. Yeah, but do you have any idea how hard it its to Draw all that stuff? -- Pirates have pretty complicated clothes, and then there's all that swash buckling. I'm so glad you brought our conversation about NC to the 5th page. I agree, capturing ...

Re: Japanese words

For the love of God and all that is holy, even in translations, there's no need for honorifics. There are so many colorful titles in English. We can do pretty much everything if we think hard enough. Let's get a list! -Mr./Ms./Mrs./Miss -Dr. -Your honor -Your majesty -My lord -My liege -Master/Mistr...

Re: Regarding "The Controversy"

I love you AuCN. You're able to see through the squabbles and apply freedom to a higher level of responsibility. The only place I might diverge from (or rather, clarify?) your opinion is where you state that others cannot force a party to accept their version of the world. I would argue that in a fr...

Re: Twitter

I love teaching too!

I'm a graduate student, but I call it "work" since I haven't taken classes in a year and am just doing research along with the assorted teaching/mentorship duty. Haven't had an actual class of students in like a year though T.T

Well, since I work at a university, I'm expected to be Facebook friends with work friends :/

But props if you can keep them separate like that.

Re: Twitter

It's not an identity security issue I'm talking about. It's about keeping up a professional image.

I don't want my coworkers knowing about any personal interests of mine. Having hobbies is equivalent to showing weakness, since all I am supposed to care about is science.
