When choosing a new default font, it still italicizes that font progammatically rather than choosing the italic version of the font. config.font_replacement_map doesn't seem to work with the new gui, or that I have been able to find in the documentation. Basically, I want to be able to change the string, like so: $ fruit = "apple" Where "apple" also has a value. 1 might indicate it's edible, 2 might indicate it's overripe and 3 might indicate it's rotten, for instance. So, a bunch of fruit might have data like this: Fruit "apple" 1 "orange" 3 "pear"...

Nearly done with another scene--some screenshots with OpenDyslexic enabled. I spend most of the testing/editing phase with OpenDyslexic enabled because the kerning and line spacing is quite different from the regular font, so it's just easier to test with it. As a result, I get used to it and forget...

I took an animation I'd made in Blender, then converted to webM to try it out. After a few seconds it crashed on me, but omg still really looking forward to this feature. It looks great!

(Also, in the latest nightly, defined im.composites sometimes seem to revert to the default placeholder images).

Days, chapters, acts, parts and so on can give the player a good indication, as paradigmshifty mentions. Although you have to bring a chapter or act to a natural close to avoid breaking immersion. Story text for Act II is done.. just testing it in-game, then onto adding art and sprites and so on to the Act II scenes.
