Re: Worst anime you have ever watched?
...wear airplane-pants and fight aliens, while the camera constantly pans past their pre-pubescent crotches. You must have been watching Sky Girls instead :P -- AFAIK the girls in Strike Witches are 13-20 or so. As for my personal worst, I particularly loathe Cyberteam in Akihabara. It's like every...

Re: Scale entire screen without wasting texture space.
What's the increase in texture memory in practice, 4MB or so? I don't think anyone will care.

Re: Photoshop Help
1.) I've seen some people on youtube colouring hair in a much more efficient way than I am. It looks like they outline the hair, delete the background, colour messily, and then do something that deletes all the colour outside the hair. Right now, what I'm doing is just colouring messily, and then s...

Re: Best VN Sountrack
Also the OP/ED is usually part of the soundtrack (OST)... I have a copy of Ever 17's, it's definitely on theirs. So I figured I'd at least mention when they had a particularly memorable one (apart from the rest of their equally nice music).:) Too bad they changed the OP for the PSP port :/ I'm not ...

Re: Simple questions about resolutions.
vndb.org has screen resolutions for its entries, both games are 800x600.
I'd also like to point out this topic.

Re: Window Size
I got out my trusty ruler and measured and I think on average I'm usually 20-24 inches away from the screen. Not sure if that's the norm or not. Rule of thumb is about 2x the screen diagonal. I take it that if 640x480 makes you cry tears of blood you probably won't play a VN if it's in that resolut...

Re: Window Size
The biggest size I'm comfortable with is 800x600 (my computer resolution is set at 1024x768). However the project I'm currently working on is in 640x480 because like Lotus, I don't like to play fullscreen. Even when I'm watching videos on my computer I usually prefer to watch them in their small fo...

Re: Why are they called CG?
CG is just short for "Event CG" which is a perfectly sensible term. Yeah, this is one of those things that doesn't make a whole lot of sense anymore, but on the other hand, trying to change it to something else would probably be more confusing. You know what the real enigma is, though? KN. What's so...

Re: Publishing on Mac App Store / iOS App Store / Chrome Web
I'll try to answer the questions vnovel carefully avoided answering. (Disclaimer: All information I have was obtained from looking at their public demo games several months ago) Are the iOS/Android apps compiled webapps, or are they closer to native code? It's a webapp. Are all the Ren'Py transition...

Re: USB Problem?
It appears the filesystem was corrupted, which usually happens when you remove a USB disk without first unmounting it (or ejecting, or whatever Windows calls it these days). The only way to fix that is reformatting it.
