Re: Country Poll

Man we need a call-and-response for North (proper rather than central) America. "U.S."...! (Canadians shout "EH!") ...A Canadian (or even another N./S. American nationality) can think up something for me to shout to support their patriotism too. Rock on New World, I love you! I am marking you down ...

Re: Commercial VN makers: How much do you spend on making ga

Oh I am certainly aware of that. VERY FEW artists can make it professionally unless they have some great connections and a lot of luck. I will get her to post one of the pieces she is working on for me and link you to it. Thanks LateWhiteRabbit

Re: Commercial VN makers: How much do you spend on making ga

Same. I have been writing since I could string a sentence. Primarily because I didn't have any friends at school so my characters were my friends. I can hold my own at drawing, but it doesn't reflect the professionalism that I want to show in my work so I hired on my best friend who is actually a s...

Re: Twitter

My fondest moment in my teaching experience was when I was in middle school. We were studying medieval history and the teacher got on the subject of knights. Now I absolutely love European history and the Medieval period is my specialty. So I went into how a knight is trained from a squire. I mean t...

Re: Commercial VN makers: How much do you spend on making ga

I am probably not a good reference for this since I program/draw/write, so I only spent money on musics. This. I'm a professional artist who has been writing stories all my life and I have been programming since Junior High (i.e. a long time ago). Because of that I am basically a one man team. The ...

Re: Twitter

Well, since I work at a university, I'm expected to be Facebook friends with work friends :/ But props if you can keep them separate like that. Really? You work at a university? Doing what? I used to want to be a teacher because I absolutely love teaching. I was a tutor and mentor for several young...

Re: Twitter

It's not an identity security issue I'm talking about. It's about keeping up a professional image. I don't want my coworkers knowing about any personal interests of mine. Having hobbies is equivalent to showing weakness, since all I am supposed to care about is science. Haha yeah good point. I kind...

Re: Country Poll

Okay so here is the rundown so far. For the most part the tally is spread all over the place. The U.S. takes the lead and the rest of you all are all by your lonesome :P Austria - 1 Australia - 1 Bulgaria - 1 Bosnia and Herzegovina - 1 Canada - 1 France - 1 Germany - 1 Mexico - 1 Philippines - 1 Rus...

Re: Twitter

I just put up all the security setting on my Facebook. No one can see anything on my page unless they are my friend. Another precaution I use is only adding people that ARE my friends. So many people wonder why their identity gets stolen or pictures of them get out when they have their Facebook wide...

Re: Commercial VN makers: How much do you spend on making ga

I used to live in US before, and from what I know, I think you may need one if you have a real company, and if you have a large income. I say you would be fine as long as you regularly pay tax. (But don't count my word, since I'm not an expert in this field.) I will look into that thanks :) Where d...

Ah, I see. I live in the U.S. and I don't think that I need a business license to sell games, but I want to make sure. Does anyone know about this?
