Re: 2 Questions: Options depending on Day / How to export ga
well... that should be similar to what I suggested (you know, I did it with every day of the week meeting different people at the same places) could be like this: label library: "You walk in and the librarian greets you...." if daytime = day: menu: "Tutor": jump tutor "Wander": jump lwander if dayti...

Re: 2 Questions: Options depending on Day / How to export ga
guess, I can help... but only if you want to have really huge blocks of script, which look for example like this: if library: $ study_points += 1 if night: jump tutoring else: jump exhibition else: jump elsewhere (sorry, I don't know how to make it easier :? :wink: )

Re: Too Many Ideas!
I often feel the same way: Ideas just start popping out of nowhere and keep pestering me, until I start writing the beginning of the story or sketch something at least. I must have around 20 projects running at the same time (cause I'm not only doing VNs, but also write novels)... that's helpful in ...

Re: Need some help, First Person - Explaining Past
I read it and I think, you did it just right. I'm always using first person when writing a story and my way of describing the character's past is similar. With the right amount of backgrounds and sprites it's going to be just fine... you could use some rather old looking pictures while he explains t...

Re: Do you play as same or opposite gender?
That's funny... I always want to play as the gay guy I wish I was... though I'm a hetero girl actually :wink: I always choose the male character when playing a game... I don't like female characters that much. Sometimes I think, they're silly... (yes, I can say that, cause I'm a girl :twisted: :) )

heh, that's because I created a dating-sim-like part in the game, without using the dating-sim engine at all...

Re: RockRobin - Band Manager (New Demo)
No, no... please, don't change anything, I like it nevertheless... ( I'm just not that patient
(the worst thing an author can do to me is describing the place of the setting in 50-100 lines
))

Re: RockRobin - Band Manager (New Demo)
(Simon) Oh, by "too much talking" I just mean, there are sometimes rather long descriptions of what happens or long dialogues which could be cut short. but maybe you just leave it as it is... I often have the same problem with other texts (even in German :wink: (since you mentioned, I'm an "English ...
