Oh, so you mean, once you're on track for a guy or general ending, should there be a point whether the end with that guy should be good or bad? On one hand, I like having a clear choice on such things, it's much less aggravating knowing which ending I'm going to get. I like knowing what I'm going to...

Oh, I think I misinterpreted your post; there is an end labeled "successful", and another called "Big again". My mistake.

@arithra: I think so as well. Besides, I like a lot projects at once to keep me busy. So we'll see.

@Snowflower: Great! Which ending would that be? Kansas? Big Again?

If your game is based on points, then is there much purpose to the point system if it can be overridden by a single question?

There's one more I'm considering making into a WIP, but for now it's still just an idea. I'm waiting to see if it sticks with me.

Hmmm... I think that the point-based system would be my personal preference. That way the MC sort of builds up the character which points the way to the corresponding ending. It seems more natural to me rather than hinge the whole game on one question.
