Re: Starlight - Now Avalible!

Amazing. The boldy-colored (and dare I say it... moe) hand-drawn sprites look nice on top of the crisp vibrant 3DCG backgrounds. Thanks! Aesthetically I'd still like to have more integration... some kind of filter I can run my 3D through to give it a slightly softer look, but I'm glad it worked and...

Re: Starlight - Now Avalible!

You generally have choices between building a girl up, or tearing her down/doing it yourself. You want to do the former, and then trust in them. To some extent, I worry that the game is too hard, because it doesn't say much about this in game. See, that's what I'd figured. And what I tried. Perhaps...

Re: Starlight - Now Avalible!

I liked the atmosphere in the game, and the flashy presentation of it. The characters were fun too. Although I *did* feel like throwing Violet Winkler out the airlock  And.... captain Thrace? Was that an intentional hint at something else? (Maybe these were all over the place, and just did...

Re: Starlight - Now Avalible!

The girls got me totally mad and I just wanted to beat them DX; LOL! Anyway! I quite liked the idea and It made me want to see more =P (so I can get a beat-up/punishment scene in the future ...j/k! xD) I want to see how much the relationships with the characters develop in the future =3 You know, i...

Re: Starlight - Now Avalible!

So I played your game and here's my review. The background story is well thought, it's a bit vague, but I don't know, maybe it's going to be some kind of great adventure. Thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it! The background is fairly well developed and it is intended to be a great adventure....

Re: Starlight - Now Avalible!

I have buttons. And when the intro of the game contains the words "in... peace, for all mankind", I'm pretty much ready to have those buttons pushed. At least for this old geek, Starlight pushed all the right buttons... story, music, art, awesomeness... Thanks. ^_^ Thank you for the kind words! I a...

Re: Starlight - Now Avalible!

Haha. I played through it once and I got the not bad ending. :3 I loved it. It was pretty hysterical. ^_^ I was practically giggling through the entire thing. I hope to see more of this in the future! ^_^ (*^^*) Thanks! It's really great to hear that other people enjoyed it! When I playtested it my...

Re: Starlight - Now Avalible!

Quick question: how much bandwidth do you have for your plan? Can it handle 500+ downloads a month? Assuming this is the final version of Episode 0, we need to get it mirrored asap. I'm currently at 10TB / month (overage is .10/GB). Normally I used about 2GB / month total. If I download anywhere ne...

Re: Starlight

YA-TAI! Somehow... I'm done. Doesn't include everything I'd hoped for when I started, but is it a complete visual novel, made entirely by me! Before turning to the next project (hopefully Starlight ep1 proper) I do have a small list of things I'd like to complete: - Add a working image gallery. 50%...

Re: Ren'Py 6.4.0 Released

Sorry, I tried to upgrade to 6.4.0 to release my game, but it crashes as soon as the "narrator" character speaks. The error is: AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'style' I assume it may have something to do with the fact that I am defining a basic character so that everybody speaks ...
