Re: Critique my backgrounds please

Well, aside from Hue/saturation. You can try using Curves window. Another complementary feature, you can try using "Color Balance" to attain a certain degree of color if the green is too "green" for the environment. Those are the features I often use whenever I make backgrounds and the colors I pick...

Star Project. I always play it everyday, but if you're asking me for something more irrelevant to VNs, Aion Online.

Re: Critique my backgrounds please

Yes, Paint Daubs would help too to make it more painterly. And your colors of green are really bright. o_o I don't think you'll see something so bright in real life unless it's summer and you're in the mountains. I think you have to make it less saturated, depending on the distance of your objects. ...

Re: Last Cycle's Vision [GxB][Science Fantasy, Mystery]

One nitpick I do have is the text box on the second screen-- it appears a little bulky. It takes up a good third of the screen (perhaps a little more) so if you could, thinning it out or making the back part more opaque could lessen the intensity of it. Thank you for the feedback! c: I've re-update...

Re: What is your religion?

I'm a Catholic, but not that devoted. I believe in God's word but with more open-mindedness. I've always viewed my God is the same as the rest of the higher beings from different religions. I believe they're all the same and wishes for us to live a principled life. Of course, that's just my opinion....

Hmmm, my first VN was probably Yo-Jin-Bo, but I've been playing dating simulation games before so that got me into Otome games.

Re: Critique my backgrounds please

Oops, sorry. Confusion. What I meant was, render your models with lineart/textures in JPG or PNG format then open it in Photoshop. Remember to render another copy without lights on your 3D programs. Use the image with lights as a reference instead. Then now, go to Photoshop. Use Blending modes. Crop...

Anyhoo, I'm offering my services as an artist. I'm now opening my services in creating art, both character sprites and backgrounds. GUI and CG art are also an option, but kindly PM me so we can negotiate. Clearly, they're not easy to put a price tag on compared to the rest. Payment through Paypal H...

I'm currently a college student, but I'm also a freelance Multimedia Artist, 3D Artist, Illustrator & Graphic Designer. I have other unpaid sidelines which I do for the heck of it like being an events manager & a model, but I don't think those really count. It's amazing how we all ended up in this p...

Re: Critique my backgrounds please

The backgrounds still looks 3D-dimensional to me and somehow doesn't go allow with flow in comparison to the forest. The forest is more painterly style. If you're planning to make your background look like they're almost the same, you'll have to create your own textures and uv-maps for it. Also, fix...
