Re: Some tips for my artwork please?

Perhaps what I could comment would be the color palettes of the background. It's too monochromatic; therefore, your eyes don't know where to look on. There's no balance so to speak. Given that you used yellow, which has the highest intensity to grab your attention, my eyes couldn't concentrate where...

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^

This is a new concept of an old character. God I had fun with this style~ I was testing to see if it would be sustainable to use in a VN Your new style looks good! It's just a matter of blending well by the edges but overall, looks gorgeous. Here's my comment on your artwork c: I did a little adjus...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

I mean, most of the time she's nice and all, but I was just getting so pissed off that apparently no doesn't mean no and god forbid that I don't want to go out. I'm going home for winter break in a few says, anyway, and she's moving to different dorm, so. >_> Deja vu. We're in the same situation. O...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

I need a way to tell someone that they're getting on my nerves and to leave me alone without hurting their feelings. ... Because I'm trying to be nice. And I don't WANT to hurt her feelings, but I'm losing my patience that she can't take NO for an answer. Wow, that just happened to me recently. I t...

I saw that viral video! I surely hope not. I don't want that happening to anyone. It'd give anyone a heart attack.

Re: Lumella's Art Corner & Progress Thread

Well that's good at least. Is there a reason you started with A4 instead of setting your own size? The new pose looks pretty good btw. I like how the character's holding what I assume is a clipboard. Thanks c: I'm glad the pose worked out c: A4 is the standard size I usually work on but when I made...

Re: Lumella's Art Corner & Progress Thread

As for it being uncomfortable while holding a clipboard, I'll admit that it's not the most comfortable way to hold a clipboard, but I can't find any more comfortable way to hold a clipboard while folding my arms. I guess folding arms isn't the best way to go if you want to carry a clipboard comfort...

I DON'T APPRECIATE HAVING GHOSTLY ENCOUNTERS AT NIGHT, ESPECIALLY NOW. >_<
I dislike the fact that I'm very keen with anything paranormal. Thank goodness, I don't see them, but I hear and sense them instead.

Re: Lumella's Art Corner & Progress Thread

I tried to fold my arms like in your pictures, and I think the left one feels more natural. In the right one, the bottom arm has no support so it takes a conscious effort to maintain the pose and is very uncomfortable. By gripping the elbow, it provides more support for the arm and feels a bit more...

Re: Lumella's Art Corner & Progress Thread

I'm having a bit of a difficulty here. Which among these two poses looks more natural? It's for a character somehow similar in personality with Kyouya Ootori (Ouran). I'm already doing the linearts, and I almost forgot about these. EDIT: The character ought to fold his arms while holding on a clipbo...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

I feel awful... I told this to my wife because I cannot sleep and consulted her what to do... she comforted me that I did the right thing but I need to do something about it... tomorrow... I'll give her my Bamboo Tablet and tell her up front to pursue her dreams but just be prepared for consequence...
