Re: A game with a message...?
One of the actors who was the main guest star in one of the Voyager episodes, is a personal friend of mine. Now i am not telling you that because i want to boast, but because this guy later went on to become a Writer and Producer an all of the movies and plays he produces or writes allways have a ve...

Re: Star Trek: Voyager NOW RECRUITING
Kobyashi Maru? So that means the player has no chance of winning? I would suggest letting the player choose what tactic he want's to use (also let him raise the shilds, and don't tell him if he forgets it, but just let him get blown to pieces :-) )Also if the battle is going badly, you cou...

Re: A game with a message...?
if it is so bad to have moral messeges, why are stories like StarTrek, Guilivers Travels, "1984", Hamlet, Othelo, Romeo and Juliet, Schindler's List, Macbeth etc. so popular? I mean you can't deny that they all have an extremely strong and dominant moral messege, and you can't deny that they are pop...

Re: Star Trek: Voyager NOW RECRUITING
only now did i look at your previous StarTrek game (which isn't a StarTrek game) and i must say... I really loved it... i mean okay you stolen everything, but the choices and branches in the story seem to be really interesting, and besides what you stole is also cool, and i also very much liked the ...

Re: Star Trek: Voyager NOW RECRUITING
see that's the cool thing about StarTrek. You can say whatever you want, and talk about things you normally could never talk about... as long as you let it all happen on some other planet, nobody is going to be offended. I mean TOS even went so far as to have a planet called "Zion" and an allien rac...

Re: A game with a message...?
well... I said that because Lee_Hitsugaya apperantly wants to use Ren'Py to create his own StarTrek Episode(s). And the point of StarTrek has allways been to use certain anaologies to get certain moral messeges across. Of course you also have a lot of things like romance, suspense, character devopem...

Re: Star Trek: Voyager NOW RECRUITING
Oh, and than of course there is the most important thing. As it was allways said on this board: DON'T PLAN TOO BIG!!! If you plan a gigantic project, but it never gets finished, what's the point? You should start small in order to get the hang of it. Like maybe a scenario in which the Doctor asks Se...

Re: funny and bizarre anecdotes
I still remember, when i was 3 years old i used to dress up as Supeman (-: I would take any long pieces of clothin from my mothers wardrobe and use them as a cape, than i would take my mothers sunglases (It was the 80s so those sunglases looked pretty much 70's :-) and than i would run around the ho...

Re: My first video game!
isn't that game just like Mastermind? I mean really this game is almost as old as numbers themselves, and there are so many freeware versions of it... (propably cause it's really easy to program)... no way to make money with that. But maybe if you take that as the basis... you know you gotta do some...

Re: Higurashi no Naku Koro ni
wow thanks... you know now that i think about it, it makes sense, but i would have NEVER figured that out on my own. But one question remains: In the end it's pretty clear that Rika must have found the "good" dimension in which everyone is happy, an no one goes crazy and the village as a whole survi...
