Re: Lemma Soft Community Collaboration Visual Novel game 2010
If we don't end up getting a programer in time I can probably program our game. I still have no clue what to write about. I suppose if I keep thinking about it I'll come up with something.

Re: Lemma Soft Community Collaboration Visual Novel game 2010
@ra-nyan: Sure sounds great! Just so you're aware BL is my specialty. If you're not alright with that I can stick to more normal stuff. Hmmm I guess I'll have to decide which story to make it about. I did have this big idea to make a VN in modern times based on Alice in Wonderland. I know that story...

Re: Wingding
Thanks again Tom! Though, that's a lot of work to type in little codes even for a character who only speaks about ten lines. I'll have to figure out if I want to do that or download another ttf that looks similar.

Re: Lemma Soft Community Collaboration Visual Novel game 2010
I'm not sure I fully understand what this is, but I'm interested. I can be an artist or a writer, but hopefully not both for the same project. I'd like to be the writer for one of the childhood stories which one I haven't decided. XDD;; And I can be an artist for whoever needs one. I might be able t...

Wingding [solved...pretty much]
XDD I'm slightly disappointed to find that Wingdings does not work in Renpy. When I put it in the system despite it being a true type font I get boxes. I'm using it for a character who the reader isn't supposed to be able to understand what he's saying. Now the boxes would serve the same purpose as ...

Re: Standard menu navigation in customized imagemap menu
You know...that was one of the other things I tried and I got this error: I'm sorry, but an exception occured while executing your Ren'Py script. AttributeError: Layout instance has no attribute 'navigation' While running game code: - script at line 142 of C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\Fru...

Standard menu in customized imagemap menu [solved]
I wasn't sure how to title this, but basically I want to know how to get rid of this thing. screenshot0007.png It showed up while I was putting in the navigation box for the image map. I thought once I put in my save screen it would go away. It didn't. So I changed my navigation screen. Instead of u...

Re: ctc and Rotozoom
I was trying to avoid using ATL because I had no clue what I needed to say to it to make it work, so thank you. I want to slow it down a bit, but I should be able to figure that part out myself.

ctc and Rotozoom [solved]
I'm doing something wrong.
The image is rotated, but it's not rotating. I don't want it to zoom that's why it's at 1.0. I have a feeling I'm missing a key word or I'm doing it completely wrong.
Code: Select all
define narrator = NVLCharacter(None, kind=nvl, ctc=im.Rotozoom("cake.png", 15, 1.0,))- Sat Dec 05, 2009 6:22 am

Changing the Ctrl key on the Keymap [solved]
In most VN games the ctrl key plus a letter key will do a certain action. For example: holding down the ctrl button and pressing "s" will bring up the save menu in most games. Instead of using ctrl to skip through text they use shift. I have easily changed that in my game. Now the problem is making ...

Re: Fading Hearts Released! [Quick textbox patch]
I had downloaded the demo and I've been messing around with it. I found a bug I thought you should know about. On Sunday, March 10, 2006 day time the first time you get the dating sim sort of option: Use bookshelf > Put Books in Bag, shuts down the game. I don't even get the usual error message. It ...

Using Two Window Mode with Narrator [Solved]
I don't know if this is possible or if there is away to do this. I want to use the two window mode to work with the narrator. Whenever I just use: $ na = Character(None, show_two_window=True, show_side_image=Image("kyle3.png", xalign=0.0, yalign=1.0)) the screen looks like this. sample1.jpg But if I...

Re: Centering and changing the size the name in the box
YAY!!! I figured how to center the text. init: $ e = Character('Eileen', size=24, font="tahoma.ttf", xpos=0.5, xanchor='center', ypos=0.5, yanchor='center', show_two_window=True,) The first one chages the size of the text, the second changes the font and the third centers it.

Re: Centering and changing the size the name in the box
Thank you! Ah, I totally didn't even think about messing with the Character code thing. Messing with the .xalign of the style.say_who_window screws up my box position, but that's okay. I think I can figure out how have the name inside the box automatically center itself.
